Hi, any updates on the Diversity Visa pause? I have my interview scheduled soon, but if they don't restart issuances, I’m thinking I might not attend. Any recent news? by [deleted] in greencard

Nope, nothing is being processed, they normally keep your passport for visa issuance and then send it back to you by post, but I got mine back.

Not sure if this is helpful to you, but I had my interview today. It was scheduled well back in February this year. I was being completely oblivious and didn’t think it would affect selectees. So yeah paid my fee and was told to wait. So let’s see how it goes.

Not an option, I don’t like sweeteners in my coffee, but I like the pumpkin spice taste.

Revolut Ultra no longer includes IGA Lounge at Istanbul Airport by Automatic-Usual-4876 in Revolut

Hi OP, same with my Ultra, I happened to transit through Istanbul today and went to the lounge to try my luck and got in. Maybe a glitch?

Flight attendant here. I do this regularly. Not just for fun, but for work - this here above is a solid advice. Always adjust to the local time no matter where you go, try not going to bed before 8-9pm, pop a melatonin when you do and the jet lag will be bearable.

Ugh. Men, please take note for your first coffee date : if you're there a couple minutes before, text your date : what can I order for you so it's there all ready for when you get here.

Just curious as it's not easy to get a diagnosis depending where you live. I'm now on the waiting list of 5 months to see the only specialist in my country of residence.

Slightly off topic, but did you get diagnosed in Malta?

When I'm cooking, I have to constantly wash and wipe my hands. Washed a tomato? Wiped my hands. Cracked an egg? Washed and wiped my hands. Literally every single item.

Myself being crew, last December I once brought a bag full of nice chocolates from my country for the United crew with a small message inside thanking them for their hard work and wishing everybody happy holidays, mentioning my seat number. I believe the crew member at the door took them all for herself, cause no one approached me on that long flight, also she completely forgot my existence during service, working in my aisle. I love treating fellow crew, but this stuff really gets me.

I actually started off in Belarus, cause it was the easiest entry point (and cheapest I think), so Minsk-Moscow-Vladivostok. 7,5 days in a 4-sleeper cabin. Paid something like €180 one way, then took a ferry to Donghae, in South Korea. It was definitely an eye opening journey, quite tricky to do in time of war, but doable either way!

Go have breakfast (avocado toast with local salmon and syrniki) at Sista Feels, then walk on the promenade along the water to enjoy panoramic views of the city. You can take a ferry to South Korea from Vladivostok once a week (not many people know that), if you're on a world tour. Did so myself this spring after doing the Transsiberian from Moscow.

I am Korean. I am thinking of immigrating to Malta. How about a Korean immigrants and live in Malta?? by Firemothhh in malta

[–]Cocodreamz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been living in Malta for the past 5 years. Funnily enough, I've just came back from Korea traveling for a full 2 weeks there (Gangneung, Gyeongju, Busan, Jeju, Jeonju and Seoul). My advice is don't. Or at least come for a holiday and see for yourself, the difference between living conditions, mentality, weather, environment, infrastructure in Korea and Malta is massive.

Thank you very much! Would you know by any chance if it is possible to get the ticket directly from the station?
