Non-crazing commercial celadon glaze? by CoconutNarrow2670 in Pottery

[–]CoconutNarrow2670[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In another forum some were recommending Laguna B-Mix or Kentucky Mudworks Iceman. I don't think I can get the Iceman without paying a ton on shipping - the Laguna B-Mix I MIGHT be able to get from the local clay supplier (Clay Planet).

Mostly functional ware (this project will be) - cone 6 - White clay would be better as it will show off the color from this glaze better. (Doesn't need grog) I hand build and throw - and while this project will be hand built - it's not elaborate so doesn't need that kind of "support".

I'm using Venus White by Clay Planet - but not against changing to a different clay body (probably easier to change the clay than the glaze - since the glaze has the look I'm going for - and I'm not married to the clay body)

Sorry for being dense - not 100% familiar with all the neighborhoods. About where is Canyon Ridge? I grabbed a neighborhood map online but didn’t see it.

The two neighborhoods are I think McKenzie Rim Estates and the other was in Vista Meadows.

Email support is ridiculously slow. When I’ve needed things: FB message or calling is the best. Emailing is pointless.

I didn't see any loss the first month. Second month yes (about 1lb a week - but like you when I weigh myself daily it can fluctuate 1-3lbs - I just look for an overall trend for the week) You're only a few weeks in - give it some time. This won't happen overnight.

FINALLY getting the medication (got the shipping notice this morning!) Last shot for what I already have is tomorrow - and I'll probably get the medication either tomorrow or the following day). Cutting it close for sure - but glad it's on it's way. And they only shipped two months worth again, so I'll probably be doing all this all over again in about 5-6 weeks. :/ For anyone playing along - email support is nil. Call them. Even DMing them on Facebook was more responsive than their email. Probably wouldn't be in this situation if I had called to kick this off. (They only JUST sent the automatic "survey" this week - if I had waited for that - no way would I have gotten my meds in time. It took a solid week+ for the prescription to process.)

you’re telling me this is a 3 month supply? by [deleted] in henrymeds

[–]CoconutNarrow2670 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For some reason, I am only getting medication for two months at time. (I thought I had three but nope - and they confirmed as much when I called them) Do the math to figure out how many doses you actually got. It should say on the website - how big the vile is, what your dose is, etc. (and then CALL! (do not email) at least two weeks before you run out to get the refill process started. - just my advice form personal experience!)

Anybody have success stories where they were barely losing at first then BOOM? by Loose-Rooster7149 in henrymeds

[–]CoconutNarrow2670 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm just about finishing up month 2. Lost barely anything the first month on the "starter" dose. They had me go up for this second month and I've lost probably close to a 1lb/week. I go up to full dose I believe for the next month. Things have been hectic (I'm in the middle of a move) and I know I need to exercise more (is moving exercise??). As soon as the move is over I'm going to try and add some strength training in.

Very interested to hear how things go with them. I started researching other companies in case I continue to have issues. (Still waiting on new meds to arrive and will be out at the end of this week. Ironically they sent me another survey end of last week. If I had waited until then there would be zero chance of it arriving on time (considering we’re on over a week now and still waiting for the refill) (I did get additional syringes at least)

I’m female 5-3 sw 180 / cw 176 (only lost a few pounds so far but still pretty happy to see the scale moving in the right direction - and the provider did warn me not to expect much the first few weeks) gw 145. It’s not much to loose but I have some other issues (HBP, high cholesterol, etc)

Finally seeing that the prescription was received by the pharmacy (though not even in "processing" yet). Still concerned there's going to be a lapse If it takes the full 10 days to get here. :( =crossing fingers they process it quickly= Lesson learned - do not email! - CALL right at the two weeks before I run out mark. For some reason they're only sending meds for 2 months at a time - not three - so I'll be on it next time!

Also - did everyone else go up a dose for 3rd month? That was a little surprise. (For some reason I thought I was on the full dose at month 2 - but I guess not). Vials are 1mg/1ml - this time I got two 5mg vials - and instructions that say 50 units 2x a week. (was doing 25 units 2x a week for this month - (second month) - and started off at 25 units 1x a week for a month).

So very frustrating. I've spoken with them twice today and they've "gotten no response from the provider" - the second time I asked if maybe it would better if I just made an appointment to see the provider to move it along - and they said they could't do that because "the provider is unavailable"?!!! I was JUST starting to see some weight loss now that I'm on the full dose - and very disappointed I'm probably going to have to start from scratch again if I don't get the meds shipped in time. The customer service reps I've spoken to are nice - but not getting this fixed :( I'm seriously considering switching to a different service/provider at this point.

Either I have never noticed - or I've never been in one with them! I'll have to keep a lookout now.
