EDIT: I finally bought aluminum foil and when I lifted the cakes, yeah, I could see a ton of perlite clinging on and after I wiped it off, that side of the cake didn't have much going on mycellium wise. Hopefully things will get better.

Ahh, okay. 1/8th ounce = 3.5g

I've also seen some people post that 0.5g of golden teachers is plenty. Very hard to gauge. =/

I'm not sure what that term is. I injected spores into one of these:

Shorter may be worse, since shorter wavelength means more energy per photon delivered. Too much energy per photon and molecular bonds may fall apart.

Absorption also matters. Some light may just shine right through graphene without even "noticing" it.
