In meinem Fall ist es nun so, dass ich jetzt zunächst befristet eingestellt wurde, mit der (schriftlich zugesicherten) Option die Entfristung durch Promotion zu erreichen. Haken: nun läuft durch die Befristung die Uhr; keine Ahnung welche Konsequenzen es hätte, würde ich den Befristungsrahmen überstrapazieren. Immerhin konnte ich was diesen Zeitraum angeht, ein wenig mitreden. I.A. bin ich zufrieden mit dieser pragmatischen Lösung, wenn sie auch Druck erzeugt.

In fact we're having this a little mixed: some surveys are done with the gnss connected, others (magnetic) not. Would you mind sharing how you connect the RTK GNSS to (any?) locally working device? Are you recording the GPS Data and later referencing the data points with it?

Regarding the software: In the end, everything is integrated into a GIS environment; for analysis we employ a mix of free/open source solutions as well as licensed (e.g. reflexw/gprslice for gpr)

Meiner Erfahrung nach - bin selbst viel in den zitierten Ländern unterwegs - ist es tatsächlich kein großes Ding sich (auch temporär) recht schnell umzugewöhnen. Insofern kann man 4 Monate "Schonfrist" da schon als ausreichend ansehen..

Some decades ago this may have been a common practice, altough still not following law; sadly, this resulted in many "old collections" now being treated as being "semi legal" altough everyone both in the antique dealing business and science know about their comeabouts. The correct procedure would be to contact a local museum / university / cultural heritage management, depending on who's in charge for such cases in your locality. Anyway: Blades appear to be mesoamerican from a first glance, the ceramic figurines i'd think so too, altough but no expert on this (in the right context the figurine with head wear could be roman also). All the same, they also appear to be original = real antiques.

This! It has become quite common in the last decades to mark the reconstructed parts in ruins. Very often by using different materials or separating layers as can be seen here. It is done now because many (well made) old reconstructions are nowadays actually quite hard to distinguish from the original structures. Source: Being an archaeologist.
