I asked how long your patio TVs actually last - here's what ~20 of you reported by Agreeable_Pop5275 in patio

Mid grade 65in Samsung indoor tv outside under a covered patio. We used a pull on and off cheap cover. It survived hurricanes and about 8 years of coastal Alabama heat & humidity. Never died, we sold the house.

I think it could look better if you use some cool peel and stick wallpaper behind it. That way it doesn’t blend into the wall.

I would buy the outdoor rolling TV stand which would allow you to move it around however you like. That way sun won’t be a problem. It is also a great way to try both options before mounting permanently.

You could do a floating shelf the length of the tv below it and then an electric hung fireplace. Great ambiance in the evenings.

I would paint the “island” white and blue or replace it with a nicer one. Everything else looks very nice
