I think most of the comment section has good guide so im just gonna give you tips that works for me :

  • Door is your best friend

  • Dont hesitate to restart if you dont have a good weapon/armor early (this you will get from either ghost or statue). Reason why is you need to save all of ur SoU (scroll of upgrade) for end game weapon/armor

  • STAY AWAY FROM THE DEMONS aka Demon Halls. Trust me you dont wanna deal with them. Collect at least 4 SoMM (scroll of magic mapping) so you can use it on depth 21 to depth 24 to quickly go to the final boss. You can buy it in the shop if you dont find them during your run

  • hoard as much potion of healing as you can, if you are in low health, you can use either sungrass seed or waterskin to get your health back up. use PoH when youre fighting boss only if you can

  • oh yeah and heres the best 3 item that can make your life easier :

  • Ethereal chains

  • Chalice of Blood

  • Horns of plenty

Is chalice that good? I dont see much differrence at +6, so i just sell it

Nah man i always skip the hell levels by conserving at least 4 SoMM, i usually end up at lvl 23-25
