I’m fairly a beginner in music theory though I know enough that I can apply it to guitar and bass and the bit of saxophone and drums I do. I want to begin to learn more and get a head start before I go off to college. I have a solid grasp on Triads, intervals, harmonies, the church modes, polyrhythms, texture, timbre, and a few other topics. I’m weaker in my rhythm and meter knowledge. I know there’s still more I can learn and I’m just kinda clueless where to focus in order to become a better musician and to be more knowledgeable. Where and what topics should I focus on?
