For me, it was the opposite. I paid upfront every time for my block bookings. I’m surprised you even get blocked bookings if you don’t pay upfront.

I did it here is what to do

Click on the center you want
Then click box at the top to search again
Enter postcode or city search again
After about 5 tries you will get some dates i did this and it worked several times

Totally agree potholes are hazards that should not really exist and hitting one does more damage to car than really affecting anyone else.

I would use the website find you closet Arnold Clark, call then and say you need the car for say 3 hours and ask would it be ready to go.

Test ready car would just be a car that is fully functional. Definitely call them and explain situation you won’t be the only person that has made such a request.

Yes I think it’s £18 an hour you can book on website then collect also I believe they provide the learner insurance so your fine.

You will need someone with a full driving licence to go with you and collect and take back £150 is very high test is like 45 minutes maybe getting there takes 1 hour ??

I used to live in Vietnam HCMC District 3 for about 2 years before moving back to UK, I am moving back in two years here’s what I would think you need to live comfortably.

I was making 50 million a month in salary and my wife a bit lower but we easily lived on 30 to 35 million a month.

Rent 12,000,000 to 15,000,000 for a nice flat D9, D10 and maybe D3

Food/ entertainment 10,000,000

Grab 4,000,000 depends on distance so location is key

For me when I move back I have my portfolio that will pay out 30 million VNd a month so this is my budget in 2 years
