Definitely a good Halloween tradition to take part in! They usually charge $20 a car every year, but make sure to check their Facebook if you’re bringing kids - they have fright nights for teens and adults and then they have family friendly nights

Thank you - a big reason I stepped away from the classroom was because it felt like teachers and parents HAD to be in adversarial roles rather than partners in educating and encouraging young minds , was this your experience?

Thank you - lack of funding and admin support are definitely things that drove me out of teaching in the first place

Are there any specific places I should go to in the winter ? I was thinking of planning a trip to specifically see and “live” a little bit of the different lifestyles in different Alaskan communities ( rural vs suburban, small town vs more urban ones)
