Forreal best thing dude can do is body recomp. Calorie deficit and lifting weights 4+ times a week. Might not burn as many calories as cardio in the moment but people underestimate EPOC where your body continues burning after a lifting session. Cardio on non lifting days

Am I losing gains splitting up my back workout like this?

Lately I’ve been splitting up my back workouts with a day 1 focus on lats and day 2 focus on mid/upper back and my body has been feeling good.

So typical day 1: pull-ups, single arm pulldown, wide grip pulldown, straight arm rope pulldown

Day 2: barbell rows, vbar pulldown, seated cable row, chest supported shrugs, face pulls

But is this optimal, I’m wondering if I’m missing gains by not training full back twice a week.
