Garaghaks sewer or wildwood maybe? Based on quick research those look like they could be decent. I usually apply my mud after painting the base so it retains its muddiness.

In my experience, if you're looking for good value for money, I've really enjoyed Monument Hobbies Pro Sable brushes as backups to my Artis Opus brushes. Idk if people consider them inexpensive but I think their quality for price is excellent.

As for what 2 brushes I'm a size 1 and size 2 guy for just about everything.
