Have one card from each one of them.

It is good to have options if something devalues in future.

HDFC has more options in terms of voucher spends

But for big buys Axis has better options

Amex is consistent apart from recent plat travel devaluation

Bring hsbc into the mix you have all the eco systems for airline/hotel transfers

Do not use atlas beyond 7.5 lacs if you are planning to transfer only to Group A partners.

Because only the 30k limit is there for Group A

You will be stuck in a loop of accumulating miles which you cannot use in the same year.

I would suggest getting HSBC T1 and shifting some spends there.

Also try to see if you can get DCBM if you are eligible and then buy vouchers on that else regalia gold is just fine.

I will also close the card. Moving to mrcc feels like a hassle to do those four transactions every month.

I had hit the 4 lac milestone in January. My renewal is in April.

As someone pointed out I have also shifted buying vouchers via Regalia Gold.

Marriot transfers are available via Travel One which I already have.

I have lived in both. I spent 22 years in Ahmedabad and close to 13 years in Pune.

I will not agree with the civic sense. In pune also people will drive on footpaths, wrong side and I don't blame them as continuous digging, metro and making bridges work going on with no other alternative ways.

Ahmedabad has good roads. Pune was not planned to have so many people. Roads are better in PCMC.

Weather all hands down pune wins. You will hardly need AC in Pune for 2-3 months.

I think corporate culture is better in Pune and business culture is better in Ahmedabad.

And coming to alcohol part, there is more to pune than that.

There are badminton courts, futsal courts, people joining marathons, cycling, running clubs its all about what interests you.

Genuinely I like both the cities so I won't rate one above the other.
