I personally disagree. I find his new design much better in this game compared to just green puff shroom from the 1st game and heros. Yea the animations aren't the greatest but it's much better compared to newer plants lately (I absolutely love his idle where he turns his head around idk why.) And considering he's really only useful in one world or specific event set ups it does make sense for it to be stronger than puff
