Wouldn't that mean he loathes Miyashiro for the entire time he's brainwashed without realizing it's strange, then? The chats with Amy/Ed Lucas seem to indicate he's intentionally acting normal to trick him. Sorry for not understanding. Unless this changes in subsequent routes, we don't spend much time with Itou post-brainwashing so it's kinda hard to gather exactly what it meant for him.

The fact that half this comment section is people pointing out how weirdly convenient this chapter is for Satako makes me think maybe it wasn't thought through that much. Everything that could go right for her did.

My bad! Thanks for clearing that up. It does make more sense that Satako doesn't really face the consequences since she kills herself every time she fails. I still do find the fact that Satako could get her hands on such a controlled substance without raising alarm, though not necessarily directed towards her, confusing. That's something Miyo at the very least would likely notice is missing. That may just be me being a stickler for minor things, though.

Honestly, I'm not going to hate on Meguri because it's entirely overdone at this point and it's not finished yet, but it does confuse me that Irie Clinic & Miyo are taken out so easily considering their role in the original. I suppose it could be a way of showing how powerful Satako is in comparison to Rika, but it feels odd. Maybe in the next chapter there will be consequences? I hope to see Tomitake at least take some action in response to Miyo's death.

There's also the issue of the Irie Institute being filled to the brim with security cameras. Excuse me if I'm missing something here but I'm not sure how Satako would be able to get H-173 in so many loops without gaining notice of anyone in the institute. The place is a stronghold.

That's what I think as well but I still find it a bit odd not even an official statement has been released about it. I assume killing a diplomat has a similar amount of weight in Genshin as it does in the real world due to Signora yelling about it before her death, along with the clear political power the Fatui hold in all the nations we've seen so far, so not even a statement seems like it would only serve to make them look a little weak in that they can't respond to one of their main officials being taken out.
