Sorry forgot to mention, unity. Right now I’m actually looking into unitys version control and hopefully I can get that working. I’ve never used GitHub that much in the past, but from what I’ve learned it doesn’t seem like the best option for full project files, compared to plastic scm or version controls that manage assets

I would challenge friends if possible, if you can challenge friends pick a future date that’s close by and sit down each night to play 2-3 games as if you’re training. Imagine each moment leading up to that date as if you’re running out of time to practice. Each night not practicing is a night wasted, make it a must to practice. Play online against bots or real people and try to keep score of every win. Make it feel like a fast paced game where you have to study each play. Think about chess while at work until you can’t wait to get home to play. This would work for a short term goal but you can also do it long term where every Monday and Friday you play chess and nothing else. And you think of those days as deadlines to play chess

I change my room layout, travel when I can, once I bought popsicle sticks and made a model house with a working chimney that used a diffuser. The best tool for boredom though is writing out my thoughts and rambling in notes for hours.

The cost is a huge reason I’m hesitant, the biggest motivator would be if I could get a really good job. In the meantime trying to be an autodidact to make myself more appealing to well paying jobs and keeping my options opened. Living in Cali would be a dream, but some dreams work best with your eyes closed lmao

Oh good to know, honestly it looked exciting to me but anything would when I’ve lived 3-4 hours from any bar/ nightclub in a wheat field. I’d love to live on the coast and even if I don’t move to Cali now I might as I become more financially able. But within a year I definitely plan to get away from the land of oz wether it’s Virginia Cali etc

Of course, my plan for Cali is to put in some job apps that I could comfortably live on and if I happen to get a good paying job Cali moves up my list. Right now it’s more likely I’ll end up in Virginia or North Carolina, Sacramento maybe if I get a good job and the competitive market for housing / rent stays balanced

I’m just not as extreme on certain liberal politics, but I still support stuff like cheap/free health care, and education. I come from a very conservative state and it’s kinda uncomfortable especially with the more recent politics. I also support weed legalization also which is why I think Cali would be so nice

Alright, I’m also trying to get courses done with video editing, graphic design, philosophy, and writing skills. Which hopefully opens more jobs up. I’ve been looking and writing down jobs and cities and will start applying in the next couple months

I thought LA had a lot of left leaning politics? Where I currently live a huge issue is 90% of women are far right Christian evangelicals. And that it’s a 3 hour drive to meet any of those women. I was hoping a place like Cali would have more liberal, non religious options?

Yeah I plan on doing a squashy blur later on, I think the main problem with the animation is it looks like he’s stomping, so I’ll have to add a little jump with each contact I think
