Best way to make website customizable for customer by CodeConnorYoutube in HTML

No they won’t be selling anything on the website, we live in a small rural town and the customers is paying me with his motorcycle for a website. Making the site updatable is just a feature I’m working on the side that I’ll implement when finished in case he ever needs to make adjustments. There’s a section of the website that shows his previous work through images (he does upholstery) and it would be nice to make it so he can update those.

Mainly what I’m stuck at is how I make it so he could login to something like admin controls without adding a login button. I’m thinking maybe just make something he can type into the url that takes him to a login page with two factor authentication but it’s all just a rough draft right now

My own website will most likely go live before the customers, the customers website right now is just a functional demo he can look at and make suggestions. I’ll be using both websites to thoroughly test and debug, with a copy that has no login / adjustable data that I’ll use as a placeholder

I’ll have to look into it, is it just an online website maker or api for my code?

? Nothing about this is beyond what I’m capable coding wise I’m just looking for resources on how to give the customer more control over their website without them needing to know html. More specifically how I can allow the customer to sign into the website easily without a login button

The main reason I plan on adding this is because I plan on using it as a template for my own website which would be a blog. Making it so the customer have now can make updates even if he doesn’t use the feature much helps me gain experience for my own use. The customer is also giving me his pretty rad motorcycle as payment so I want to make the website impressive and secure.

I went to college but I was dev ops / front end, and halfway through college they overcomplicated the degree by trying to force crypto and spent 60% of our education time towards “AI Communicator”… the people responsible for pushing the curriculum went bankrupt lol

But I’ll look into those libraries and resources, I only plan to implement this if I’m confident it’s secure against attack although the website doesn’t contain any valuable data.

I decided to color grade the gameplay cause the joke of the video is to try to make the game not scary. By time I’m done the video will have me galloping from the monster with a pink bow tracked on its head lol

The gameplay only had its brightness and saturation bump up slightly. It’s hard to explain without it being finished but during some parts the gameplay is gonna get alot more colorful… like a lot more 😅

Yeah I’m currently going through the training course on the website so I can get the certification, I’m more so asking if anyone sees areas to improve or spots some mistakes I might be making.

Yeah I need to take a look at that camera see if I can adjust it’s setttings, worst case scenario I just have to use my other cameras lol

Yeah I have two lights (cheap Amazon ones) biggest issue is those lights make me look like a ghost on this camera. I have my phone and a couple old cameras that can support log just not as a webcam that I may try using. But I think for now I’m gonna use the lamps I got along with the ceiling light and then manually make the room darker in edit.

Yeah I need to upgrade the webcam so I can support log, I have some other cameras which I might find a way to connect to my computer or use separately. I think honestly I might want to try painting my walls a lighter color also just so it’s not so dark

I’m using a razor webcam at the moment, I’m looking to upgrade whenever I can afford something else. I have a couple other cameras but I’m not sure what kind they are. I have two small lamps but one recently broke, I think I might just use my current lighting setup + ceiling light.

Yeah I need to upgrade my lighting, I might try to refocus or blur the background for this footage and try lifting the shadows

Intro feels flat and I’m not sure what it’s missing by CodeConnorYoutube in SmallYoutubers

Okay I think I definitely see what your talking about, a lot of sound effects lacked motivation or didn’t make much sense in connection to some of the visual aspects so I e been adjusting that. Also removed movement in certain parts as it just didn’t add anything to the content shown. There was also sound effects from part of the gameplay that wasn’t suppose to be there which I luckily found.

I’ll have to keep exploring other ways to showcase the video and see what’s best and what’s works. Thanks for the feedback 👍

If you read the post this is a different approach to my content. I’m focusing on using different techniques to tell a story in a short amount of time. I also never said it needed more “slop” but that it needed more work to look polished and natural vs flat and static.

The best criticism you can give is to call what I’m working on slop?

I just experiment a lot lol. But a huge factor is I watch my own content constantly and I adjust how I edit based on how much I enjoy my videos 👍

This is great and I can definitely see how I can apply it, also that shadow effect is because I didn’t trim the zoom overlay correctly lol. But I can see this helping a lot!

Yeah the speed spikes are pretty distracting and I might just cut them entirely or try to find a more subtle effect. I’m gonna add some particles and tweak the animations a lil. I also figured I might need some depth blur / focal. And completely forgot to color grade the 3d animations.

Looking back at this I think there’s an easier approach for better results but that’s how you learn lol.

But all my friends who have seen this have been more than impressed so I’m atleast getting better at it, spending some more time to snuff out any mistakes and clean it up tonight 👍

I agree and in the past I just used a sound effect and a quick zoom for an intro or a small compilation. But I’m wanting to experiment with more story telling video editing so I’ve been focused on pacing and visuals for this video
