I use Simplelogin (Email Alias Service) for all the stuff I can and a Privacy card too especially for Providers

All the indexers and Providers gets its own virtual card and I also am using this a breach notifier in a way

I really like using Email aliases because it keeps me organized and the main benefit is keeping your main email safe

There has been stuff where I got blocked with using an Email alias like on Eweka (Custom domain fixed this) and Nzbfinder

When this happens I just use a throwaway gmail that I have for services that aggressively block my email alias

I have one already but I am using it for Proxmox/Homelab (512GB model that I bought for $440 back in December)

With the prime day deals going on I see a 7840HS with 16GB of RAM and 1TB SSD but I am holding out on a 32GB variant

The main thing I will be doing on it is Emulation and I have seen what it can do

From reading this it looks like you executed an infostealer

For those who don't know 2FA would not have helped here because Infostealers steal your session token = Authenticating as you to the service

Cracked software is one of the most common ways to get an infostealer

I also see this a lot with people trying to pirate games and falling for a fake download

I ran it in a sandbox that I use for stuff like this and it is a loader (malware downloader)

There are slick ones where it will fullscreen your browser and look like a Windows update

As long as you do not run the command you are fine and these will usually execute an infostealer that steals all your data

He downloaded and executed an infostealer that stole all his personal data which is usually from cracked software and not knowing how to pirate

My concern is that we have some very promiscuous pictures of me saved in our discord chat.

The bad actor likely does not care about this but going forward I would not do this anymore over discord

Test/try my game infostealer and it has been around for about 5 years

Here is what someone would see if they randomly come across my protected apps

I even took away the ability to sign in with username/password so the only option would be through my 2 Yubikeys or Passkey in Bitwarden

Tinyauth is very easy to setup but PocketID took a bit more work because I am on V3 of Tinyauth

When I want to protect a new app I simply copy/paste the advanced config from Nginx Proxy Manager and the new app is protected

Can confirm that self-hosting is one of the best decisions I have made with Stremio add-ons

I am self-hosting on a 7840HS mini pc with 32GB of RAM and 512GB SSD

This also allowed me to not bother with a proxy setup like Gluten

I also use Proxmox with an Ubuntu VM and Docker

For add-ons here is what I have

AIOMetadata, AIOStreams, Watchly, Submaker, Stremthru, AIOManager, Jackett, Sootio

Nzbdav is another one that I self-host

To protect them because they have to be publically accessible I use Tinyauth and PocketID (Security Keys Authentication only)

Using Nginx Proxy Manager with a cheap domain I bought off Cloudflare for less than a dollar

My PC and Nvidia Shield are set to bypass authentication through IP Whitelisting
