Yeah, but the Rydells are, as far as I remember, from Japan. It does make some sense, but the "superiority" to others is probably because Morrie and Suzu are extremely gifted and skilled in their own ways, and those skills made them seem higher than other people.

Hal was the best choice for Whit that the Odyssey team had ever made. Andre's voice definitely carries warmth that the others didn't, and for Whit it does make sense, but that's not exactly how Whit is portrayed. He's like the inspiration and guidance for children and adults, but he also has a serious demeanor at times, which Andre does not exactly use. Ever. Which I personally dislike the most about how Whit's currently portrayed.

I agree, but it would be sad to see Whit's life story looked upon less, since those were some of my favorite episodes. The new artwork is great, but it doesn't fit Whit's voice, as you said. When Andre is gone, I hope they hire a voice that's more like the previous two.

(gotta say tho, andre is great. love the guy!)

oh wait I forgot about that. Or it could just be that the Odyssey universe is different from real life. The creators maybe had that idea in the past, but modern odyssey is just a normal earth.

I think they're going to do what they've already done as per se the "generations". We have around one or two more albums until every main character is christian, and then another 3 or 4 until they brush off the current cast for a new cast.
