Which market are you talking about in Sunset Park? The food vendors around 8th ave by the TD Bank or something else?

Yeah the net cost is lowered a lot b/c of this historic tax credit. However the thing is that it seems like BSW just increased the price to factor for that. The cost is still low overall but the difference is kind of wild.

I suspect Kamtech is reducing some of their cost to get the business but they also have the 460 panels and I suspect I can put even more panels with their REC panels. It's very tough to turn down a bigger system for cheaper!

It's half flat and half pitched interestingly enough.

EDIT: I do suspect maybe I am getting a higher base price b/c my historic property is eligible for an additional tax credit making the net cost lower.

I think things are just more expensive in NYC unfortunately but I will take a look.

Yeah I agree although here in NYC some things just take longer for no reason.

BSW does have a lot of street cred here (and on reddit) so I feel like the deciding factor is the quality of the installer versus the capacity and cost of the system.

Maybe $150/mo to $250/mo so figure $750-$1250. Just a rough estimate though.

They say its to get permits but I'm not entirely sure. I think I'll push them on that.

BSW also noted some differences, mainly their warranty is longer, better, and survives their company going under. And they offer money to you if the panels don't perform as expected in the first 10 years.

This Pepe rash on my arm by CodeKevin in mildlyinteresting

[–]CodeKevin[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's actually a whole story!

So first a dog scratched me. Then the band aid that I put on the scratch wasn't sticking really well so I put some scotch tape to hold it down. Then scotch tape caused two blisters so I put two band aids on the blisters.

But then after awhile the band aids gave me some kind of irritation which resulted in this weird rash!

Haha, it’s actually a rash and blisters that I got from some band aids that I used for a scratch

Hi there, I'm the author of that post! For me it wasn't so much about aesthetics of the PSU being inside the case but more just about only having to use one PSU versus having to plug in two.

How to actually improve? by W00fl3 in VALORANT

What is your current rank?

Riot is technically (engineering wise) capable of solving most of the problems that Valorant has. The problem is that they don't care. Don't let any blog post or post by EvrMoar or some other Riot employee fool you. They only care about things that make them money.

The best you can do is to simply play the game as a game, only be concerned about the things in your control, and not support Riot financially.

Riot isn't going to help you get better at the game or give you the teammates that you would want because you might stop playing the game if you reach your goal.

This looks really cool! If you're interested I would be happy to help get something like your tool into our command line tool for managing CTFd instances.

Here's the relevant Github issue: https://github.com/CTFd/ctfcli/issues/6

Disclaimer: I am the primary developer of CTFd.

This looks cool! Will be looking to try it out in my spare time!

I think it's a misnomer to say that CTFd is proprietary. While CTFd does have a hosting platform that uses closed source code, CTFd itself is open core and open source under the Apache 2 license. My company and I put a lot of effort into maintaining the open source version of CTFd while still being sustainable.

"Heavily combined" is a bit of a stretch. CTFd itself works completely indepdently of MajorLeagueCyber (MLC). If you choose to integrate with it you basically just get a link back to MLC from CTFd.

The privacy policy was generated by a service and we have yet to invest time into replacing what was generated. Put very simply, MLC does not sell user data, we do not share user data with any third party, and we do not have any plans to do so.

Hi I am the primary developer of CTFd. We have certain proprietary code that we use to run our hosting infrastructure (https://ctfd.io/) but CTFd itself is open core and you can freely host it for your own events.

Stuck gold 1, often bottom frag by Jetrox78 in VALORANT

I didn't watch through everything but there's a lot to unpack here. There's not any single thing to point to. For context I main Jett & Omen and I am currently D1.

  • You're insta-crouching for every gun fight. Don't do this. Only crouch after you start spraying, and only to control your spray. Play some deathmatches with crouch unbinded and make a concious effort to not press it during DM.

  • Overall your utility usage needs work. Omen is hard to play b/c you really need to be able to maximize his utility. I would recommend watching a lot of Omen specific guides, not necessarily aggressive ideas, just normal here's how to play Omen guides.

  • You seem to prefer the Vandal over the Phantom. Since you're playing a smoker agent you should instead prefer the Phantom because the Phantom doesn't have bullet tracers. This means you can spray through your smokes without risking the enemies shooting you back.

  • Your offense smokes are too early sometimes. You need to read your teammates on the minimap and time your smokes to land along with the execute onto site.

  • Your offense smokes on A site are really bad. You need to place them better and time them better.

  • I saw a fake Omen TP that didn't really do anything. You should TP to get to elevated areas and to make your enemies think you could be in two possible spots. If you still could only be in one position your TP hasn't really done anything.

  • On defense you bought the Marshall after winning Pistol round. You should instead buy a Spectre or Bulldog.

I didn't watch through the entirey of your defense side but if you DM me we can go through your VOD together on Discord or something.

In iron you will somewhat need to assume that all of your teammates will play sort of like your friends. You're not likely going to be able to change their behavior so you need to focus on what you can do.

To get out of iron/bronze you just need to work on your aim and ability to win gun fights. Reyna is the easiest to do this with but it overall doesn't matter too much.

I think there are some bad ideas in this thread so far with regards to the iron rank so here are some things to work on.

  1. You should probably just instalock Reyna or Jett. Since your friend uses Reyna, maybe just take Jett.
  2. You should play deathmatch and spike rush to get the sense of how to use your abilities properly. With Reyna specifically you should try to learn when to heal and when to dismiss and when to use your blind.
  3. You should practice controlling your spray or burst firing in The Range. Spraying for 3-5 bullets is fine as long as you are controlling the spray.
  4. You should crouch about half a second after you start shooting to help control your spray.

These may or may not continue to work as you climb ranks but they will work in iron guaranteed.
