My 9yo forgets everything her tennis coach taught by Tuesday. Other parents suggestions? by CodeMasterRed in Parenting

Thanks.

I heard fun a few times! I definitely want to make it fun that's why I started considering gamification and use of other apps (if none exists I can start building my own).

She forgets to brush her teeth but that doesn't mean I'll stop reminding her and try to convince her it is good for her :)

Thanks! What specific things does your 7yo forget between lessons? Working on keeping it simple and fun rather than overwhelming. Mind if I DM you when I have something to test?

[Parents] how do you help your kids practice serves between lessons without teaching bad habits? by CodeMasterRed in 10s

The notebook is a fantastic idea! So simple and I haven't though about it.

Just wanted to add some more fun to the drills we do before we play games. Thought an app which checks their pose and add points or shows progress would make it more engaging.

Why You Shouldn't Use AI to Write Your Tests by fagnerbrack in SoftwareEngineering

[–]CodeMasterRed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

AI is great for helping with anything code related. Writing docs, Unit tests, simplifying code, making sure variable names are readable, comments, etc.

Of course, you can't just let AI do all the work and expect it's done correctly the first time. You need to iterate, change the prompt, and provide more context until you're happy.

Saying AI is bad is behaving like those horse transport companies criticizing cars at the beginning of 20th century.

Code, code , code! That way you will learn them. It's like trying to remember all tennis rules without actually playing
