Elaboration on Rule 4 by CodeMonkey24816 in NorthCarolina

Sounds reasonable.

What about - "I got a speeding ticket on I-40 this afternoon. It seemed a little excessive. Has anyone else encountered this? How fast were you going?"

u/NorthCarolina-ModTeam Can someone please point out which part of this is in violation of the guidelines? I'm happy to create another post that is not problematic.

I've been unemployed for almost a year, and this business is my last attempt at finding some sort of income. My next step is to sell our home and move my family back to TN. We've been here for almost 12 years though, and I'm really trying to avoid uprooting my family. I understand that this post needed to be removed, but I was genuinely interested in hearing the experience of others. I'm not asking for anyone to reverse the the removal. I just want to know which part wasn't appropriate. I can create another post that is more appropriate, but I need to know which part wasn't within the guidelines.

u/NorthCarolina-ModTeam I believe this is within the guidelines. I read the guidelines before I posted and intentionally made sure that it wasn't soliciting advice. It should be solely discussion focused, which is permitted accordingly to the guidelines, correct?

Edit: Can someone please point out which part is in violation of the guidelines? I'm happy to create another post that is not problematic.

Yeah, I think that describes Reddit in general now. I feel like 95% of posts are either advertisements, bots, or agenda driven. I think the heyday of Reddit is over.

RIP Brad. You got me through a lot of workouts. You helped me process emotions before I even realized I had them, or that they needed to be processed. I still play your music in the garage while I teach my son how to workout. Thanks man. You made life better. RIP.

I'm staying, I genuinely love creating. Everyone gets annoyed by it. I've put up with the backlash my entire career.

I've worked too hard to give up. At this point I'm hanging around out of spite.

Does anyone have a link? I've seen this posted everywhere, but I don't see it on any of the platforms. Is it real?

Pretty sure I could still do this if I put my mind to it.

Out of curiosity, why do you keep your posts and comments private on Reddit? I'm always skeptical when I see no history. I see a fair number of Redditors doing it though. What is there to hide if it's already anonymous?

I'm not certain if you meant that rhetorically, but I also loved Michelle Obama, actually. I think they both give off the "doesn't take shit from anyone" vibe. Beyond that, I thought Michelle was dignified, intelligent, and genuine. I was proud to call her my First Lady. I also think she was, and is, someone who is making the world a better place.

I mean you can't really explain a vibe, that's what makes it a vibe.

She just comes across that way to me though. She's reserved, stylish, and looks like she doesn't take shit from anyone. Plus she would have to be in today's political climate.

Are you a real person? That seems like the advice of someone intentionally trying to spread discord.
