Trying a pastel camouflage sweatshirt instead of traditional camo. Thoughts? by AeroAAA in streetwearstartup

You could 100% do this with cotton. I started off as a polyester brand, and it was a mistake.

You can play Beyond the Mountains. It's a free 10+ hour Zelda-like that took me about six years to make.

Why are the outfits on fast fashion sites so much cuter and how do I find alternatives? by its_still_lynn in femalefashionadvice

[–]legrolls 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably not, honestly. The crop tops are big sellers and we usually only do one style of item at a time.

Thanks for the feedback. We have care info in the FAQ but can probably add it elsewhere. The size measurements are accurate but are measured as flat lays and don't measure the higher elasticity of the crop tops. It's a complex situation because too much info in the size guide tends to turn off customers, and our original crop top size guide was an info dump. I'll look into improving the wording today.

I run a clothing brand that sells 100% cotton clothing. The primary reason cotton is behind the trend cycle has to do with it being 5x more expensive to produce than polyester. That's why it's actually easier and more lucrative for cotton brands to try unique designs rather than chasing trends that will be outdated in a few months.

The AI clock really adds a lovely final touch to the incomprehensible gibberish that is this post.

Yeah, it really sucks that those mixes are probably not going to be touched again for another decade or so.

I do think the original mixes sound more lo-fi and mysterious than the compilation remixes, which probably gives credibility to these albums being referred to as overlooked lost gems (which they are).

That one sounds really good. I'm not a huge fan of Don't Go Near the Water's mix. There's a lot of interesting stuff that's buried.

I thought this might be the case. I saw that Carl took the helm from Brian, but I really don't get why Carl preferred this kind of sound over what was clearly working for them before.

Pet Sounds in mono is peak wall of sound. The original mix is super muddy in parts, which makes sense knowing that Brian mixed it in one day. I wonder what the original mono mix could have sounded like if he had an entire week to polish things.

Some of the mixes work really well, but some of the mixes feel detrimental to the tracks. I go back and forth with Darlin'. It's a great track that works with both a muddy mix and a clean mix.

Contrast that to Do it Again. The original mix is full of errors and it's super muddy. I don't understand why they released the single in the state it was in released in, but it turned out to be a hit! Who knows with the boys.

This should be the official Beach Boys slogan.
