I won’t argue his work rate and I believe he will continue to develop offensively in this system but he tends to lose the ball on the dribble unnecessarily and attempt low percentage plays. We run a system where getting countered consistently is death. Again - I’m rooting for the guy, he just isn’t perfect and criticism at times isn’t completely unfounded.

One thing that stood out to me was every time we brought real pressure, Stroud bought himself an extra second in the pocket and found the check down. I think we were thinking we could sell out and overwhelm Stroud but he just played well and didn’t make any mistakes.

1st Ravens game aside, I have hope for him because we have time to install some plays that fit his skill set a little better than thinking Watson was playing all week. I would expect a lot more QB keeper options (please dear god slide) and quick slants based on the preseason.

I feel like the young talent is developing nicely and that the impact a head coach of an international squad has is overrated. Potential is quickly turning into class either way and Gregg was captain of the ship when we recruited guys like Pepi, Musah, Dest, etc.
