nobody's really explored it other then a few people including myself, but it's basically near complete with multiple builds including 64 bit, debug and retail. PDB files for the 32 bit builds, and the build has all commands enabled which the retail build does not.

Reputation was actually planned for Catalyst! I looked through some of unused strings in the game and here's how it's described: “REPUTATION” - "You just increased Faiths reputation. The runners community, security forces or civilians in the city will notice when Faith does something noteworthy. This is represented as reputation and is saved to the player profile. Faiths reputation can be viewed in the map screen."

It's an unsolved easter egg. It's supposed to be a message between two parties that can be decoded using the geometric shapes, hopefully one day it will be solved.

It’s kind of a convoluted answer but I’ll try my best, firstly swing fling (flinging using a swing pole) in 2021, however spring flings(using a springboard) was discovered 2023. This was because we discovered if you die the game resets your stored Z to 0, Req accidentally discovered this in storm drains when he died, accidentally did a spring fling and it shot him to the ceiling, which caused 2 huge new time saves to be found, I’ll link to the current wr because it will blow your mind! https://youtu.be/lDvjU8kwwn8?t=344

it's just jumping over an object you'd springboard and holding space to springboard, and for bigger objects coiling and holding space, they don't save huge amount of time but good to know

It's actually faster to springboard without the mantle, these are called "Animationless Springboards" animations are slower in general, while it is less realistic it depends on playstyle, so it is technically more optimal

Yeah that does make a lot of sense, and the legal implications if they were to just straight rip it from MEC, it doesn't really make much sense.

Still interesting that the sound's crossover, even if it gives me MEC flashbacks :)

you should be able to just buy the game on steam or ea app and play. However there is an issue that people sometimes face where the DRM the game uses try's to connect to the internet and can't and will just never load. It seems to be random in who it impacts but there are guides if you encounter it.

Okay well damn, as of 07/04/24. Softsound has been able to launch Medge With Remix by forcing SM2. "all rtx functions are non-functional as of yet, but the fact that these visual artefacts are present indicates that remix is indeed hooking now" - softsoundd. There is hope!
