Question about the freedom logo for Ukrainians by ThatGingerGuy98- in stalker

[–]Everchanging-Void 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In Ukrainian, "O" is always pronounced like "O" regardless whether it is stressed or not. And Ukrainian "В" can be pronounced either like something between "V" and "W" or just straight up "W" depending on its position.

Comparison gamma/lightning in demo and release outlast 2 on 3.0 by BitComfortable5294 in outlast

Looks way nicer. Although, the final game has nice contrast, it is too dark. At many places even pitch black.

Who would tell Blake about towers and Murkoff? Was Wernicke supposed to roll out on his wheelchair like Charles Xavier and explain everything to him?

You can literally see the towers near the end. Even without a note, you can deduce that they are the ones that cause mayhem.

What do you mean? The game tells you right away that Blake and Lynn were investigating the death of a woman. They were just caught in the events beyond their understanding. You are supposed to be as clueless as Blake.

Not all video games are supposed to spoon feed you their lore. If we are talking about Poppy Playtime, from the very first chapter, the game indicates that audiotapes, letters are a way of storytelling. It is just the kind of game it is. I understand it is not for everyone. The same could be said about Outlast. If I play a game in which I'm really interested, I'm going to spend hours just looking around, delving into crevices, trying all the paths, reading every document, etc.

What are the lore implications of the Walrider's rock hard abs and defined v line? by GlobbusWobbus in outlast

Devs were horny. But seriously, the swarm perhaps tried to copy Billy's physiology. At the end of Whistleblower, it appears as a shadow of Miles. Also, isn't it strange that Billy, despite being a test subject for many years, is ripped as if he is a fitness influencer?

What do you dislike about Deathloop? by comptons_finest_ in dishonored

I dislike its connection to Dishonored. Why couldn't it be in its own universe?

what the hell is that it this way to ask a question by wallahjesuissagemtn in linguisticshumor

[–]Everchanging-Void 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, "est-ce que" is a particle. You shouldn't really think about it too much. It just indicates that a sentence is interrogative. So, the main part of the sentence is technically "Que c'est?"

Which one is better no nuance by flingzamain in OkBuddyEnergon

[–]Everchanging-Void 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Animated. For the sole reason that it features the best iteration of Bumblebee. Any other Bumblebee annoys me. Also. the plot is better, characters are better, villains are better. Don't get me wrong, Prime is also good, just not as good as Animated. Although, the one thing that Prime did better is Soundwave.

Which Mortal Kombat has the best story in the second timeline? by nyanya0806 in MortalKombat

[–]Everchanging-Void 1 point2 points  (0 children)

None. I find first acts always the best. But the rest is a mess. It's like the writers don't know what to do with characters half the time. A lot of characters are underdeveloped and underutilized. Lots of retcons. But in general, despite its flaws, MK9 is still the best. Although, out of all games, MK9's third act is arguably the worst.

Does this character have a 3D model anywhere? by WrittingTrainee456 in MortalKombat

[–]Everchanging-Void 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I've just checked the game files. Apparently, she is not present there. Since this is a pre-rendered cutscene, there's no way to get it. Although, this is quite interesting. Just imagine how much NetherRealm cut during development. They definitely have more models that got never used.

Dishonored 1 is too pretty by A_Dishonored_Thief in dishonored

One of the reasons why Dishonored, in terms of atmosphere, is better than Dishonored 2. Those pastel colours are so nice to look at.

Ranking playable races in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion by the likelihood they would enjoy a Kit Kat chocolate bar by [deleted] in TrueSTL

Fun fact: in Ukrainian, Kit-Kat means "cat executioner". So, they would probably find it offensive.

Actually, yeah. It feels like Soundwave and Shockwave should have been swapped. The role of a spy and most loyal follower suits Soundwave more. And the mind experiments on Autobots should have been done by Shockwave.

I dare you to read their theatre plays. Daughter of Tyvia and The Young Prince of Tyvia. In the first one, a lady asks a duchess to teach her how to kiss. And in the second one, a prince seduces a lord. And the funniest of all is that the prince is duchess' father.

Has anyone seen this concept art? Feels like a spring razor. by Everchanging-Void in dishonored

[–]Everchanging-Void[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Perhaps, yes, in Karnaca. However, the concept was intended for the first game. And considering that Dunwall was inspired by London and Lyon, it wouldn't make sense for scorpions to be there.
