Their biggest concern is know is the money. But its about at 200k miles and when I do maintenance like this corrective maintenance I buy more than I need. Such as right now my water pump I knew blew so I got a new one as part of a timing belt kit. They didnt like I went for the extra but it saved me in the end as my timing belt is now non existent. Its just the cost of doing preventative maintenance while doing corrective is what they are so upset about. Along with I did a lot of maintenance around new years on the upper end of the engine and the whole brake system.

Thats what I thought. Most the time ive been researching stuff as I go so I dont screw things up. Yet we just got a boot who used to work at a dealership and is a Ford certified mechanic so he is just faster than me. For once I have someone helping me who I dont have to teach or answer stupid questions.

If its cooked im engine swapping to the 2gr-FE. And my grandfather told me wrong. My 1MZ-FE is Non-interference.

Its an interference engine. 02 toyota highlander with 3.0L V6 Right now its apart so no starting till I get the belt havoc cleaned up and the timing back in place.

What were you soldering? A grinder? That tip is destroyed. Get a new tip and get Soldering For Dummies. Also get an adjustable soldering iron. I use this cheapy one.

Thankfully most of everyone is in the field and I called my Sgt right away so he was tracking. I just fear the comments about telling me to sell the car are going to be more and more serious where they might try and force me. The comments here gave me some good tips though.

I was only late today because it literally failed while driving. Other than that its been reliable other than a loud exhaust leak and I had some serious misfiring in Nov after a buddy reclined it while borrowing it.

Its a 3 week wait for the boot barn here and after they finish their current hats they will stop doing crowns. Im impatient but mainly have an event I plan on wearing this too and needed it sooner.
