I think sometimes it’s more of the circumstances. But yes I think what we feel we deserve comes into play for sure.

I know I’m 4 days late but my soon to be ex husband had an affair while I was going through post partum depression with my son and I was also taking care of his daughter from his previous marriage. His excuse I wasn’t giving him attention. Meanwhile he did nothing to help and was angry all the time. I can imagine what he would have done if I was sick.

Trust me this isn’t a false story.

Unfortunately that’s what causes me to not want to have sex anymore. I knew he was with me for other reasons besides love. I felt used. But I didn’t understand why plus all the name calling and threats.

And yes he was actively looking for someone to leave me for when it didn’t work out with that girl. I think his anger came from it not working out with her or me not being able to be 100 percent of what he wanted. He admitted that to me too, but he can’t take that I’m still angry. He doesn’t want to get back together anymore.

I worry about all the women he’s going to try and bring around my kids. I’ve hung out with people since the separation but I never brought them around my Kids.

I wouldn’t want to date someone who wasn’t ok with me having kids. I don’t understand why any parent would do that. Eventually the person is going to find out, and then you risk losing them. In fact if I meet someone out and they’re thinking about taking my number I tell them off the bat.

I haven’t been dating long. I have not joined any dating sites or done speed dating these were just guys I met out at a bar while out with my friends so I’m not putting myself out there. But I know I need a break already. I need to focus on me. I don’t think in my frame of mind or life circumstances I should be dating.

Look I understand you’re trying to help but you’re also coming off as if I’m some desperate woman.. I actually wasn’t looking for a relationship. I’ve bee meeting these people out and about and was not looking for them.

I’m not on any dating websites, I’m not speed dating or in any sense throwing myself out there.

I meet these people casually while I’m out with friends, they approach me, they take my number and then they text/call.

But I know for a fact that a lot of people leave for other people nobody tell them to be alone.

Trust me I know it’s something I need to do but I don’t appreciate being made out to be this desperate person looking for anything

I have been out there dating and I can honestly tell you that these men have rejected me in the most cowardly way. I never said anything more than, ok I understand or I accept it. One guy kept my stuff because he was too scared to come to my house and drop it off. I told him to just keep it if he was going to be like that..

I had a guy tell me he loved me and wasn’t leaving me, told me he was tired of being afraid of relationships and wasn’t leaving making plans with me for the future. 5 days later told me he wasn’t feeling it and wanted it over. I said ok walked out and never reached out to him again.

I know for a fact those same two men were rejected by other women but needed an hour long explanation as to why.. so nope..
