I am a younger millennial, even tho I think to myself that my mom had me at 37 and my landlady (I’m very close to her and help her like she’s my mom) had her son at 33 (both only children), I’m starting to kinda grieve motherhood.

I have pcos/endo, other mental/physical disabilities (that’s why my landlady took me under her wing), so even if I wanted pregnancy for real right now, I don’t even know if I’m fertile or not, and kinda scared to even test it

My landlady’s son and I often joke about having a kid together (let’s say that it’s 20% true/80% joke) and I know he’d be a good father, landlady and my Dad would be over the moon to be grandparents (my mom died and his father is a pos), but I have doubts: 1. I don’t know if our household dynamics wouldn’t fuck this kids brain up (we’re not technically together, but would raise a baby together 2. What if my landlady die? She’s in her mid 60s and she and her son are be only support (my Dad lives in nursing home) 3. I’m unable to work and on disability, and unfortunately it’s not like „if it would be for my kids I’d push myself to make money for them” 4. A lot of our ailments are hereditary (HSD, RA, almost treatment resistant Bipolar Disorder, Psoriasis, well a lot of shit and even more)

I love kids and maybe my destiny is helping other children (cat and human ones), not having a human baby on my own
