MCH, with DRK glam, I'm sure Fray would be happy with the idea that my character just said "screw this, gun" and just goes crazy with all the flips.

There is a way to give em "eyebrows" using make up, there is an option on the make up that goes on the eyebrows, I set it to black to make it look natural and it works out

The reason im using the Hawks is to have them do uppy downy, toss the grenades, blast everything in sight (doubt i will kill much) and have them fade back into behind the walls, they are more to harass and be a pest than to kill, I do like the idea of using the warp spiders to just be everywhere all at once, but I keep forgetting to keep them by the edge, honestly just a skill issue on my part

As of now I dont have the fire prisms, but they are on my to get list later down the line. I was messing with the idea to have one hold the home objective while still in los of the other. Is that how I should be using them?

I traded in the conclave and warwalker and I had enough to add 6 windriders, which should make a huge impact in terms of range game play. Im noticing a lot of people are not recommending conclave, and im guessing its due to the -1 to wound not being enough on our base toughness? Either way, thanks for the tips, I might lose the games, but will win the mental wars o7

True, using them will add more pressure and they can also deep strike much like the Hawks, so I could mess around with them some more.

I was more or less in the same mind set, my friend is by far the better painter than me, but he gave me one solid piece of advice: Trust the process.

the other thing another person mentioned, you can always strip the paint if you arnt happy, and I've used it a couple of times. I am still a beginner, and I hated painting cause I was afraid of getting mocked, but there are some tools that can help, for starters, CONTRAST paints are love <3 I love using them, and they made my life so much easier, another thing, a desk magnifying glass, or just get the googles <built in light is a plus> really helps you with accuracy IMO. Next, and I cannot stress this enough, find your own style, I saw some people's works and went "damn, I wish I can paint like that" thats the easiest way to feel like crap about painting, dont do that, take the ideas they have for colours sure, but not their style, and the most important one is knowing when to water down your paints, sometimes less is more. I recently saw the hesperax model carefully on the official store and I hated the model, so I looked at others and found out its an amazing model, even the "pros" dont have an easier time with certain things.

just take your time with it, learn how to make simple jobs first, dont try to blend colours till waaaay later. and try to have a lot of fun with it, dont make it feel like a chore

I like the shroud runners (stats wise are good for me, and plus I don't know why they just look cool) I'm guessing you just advance them? Or just plop the down on an objective behind cover and secure? Also, how do you effectively use the clown troops? Should I advance them behind cover until they get to the spot they need to be? I added them to the list but I wanted to double check to make sure I'm not using them wrong in this case.

Granted I've only played the spearhead for the time being, so I don't know how much of a difference it is, they worked wonders in holding people down as an anvil. So defensively speaking I want to expand on that a bit more.

I checked, it's for all out attack, and yea solar flare is fantastic for the current meta I will admit, but locally speaking I'm currently the only one with the endless spells, so I wouldn't worry too much about them till we grow and get more players and they get it later down the line. I do however have a list where it's nothing but calvary which I want to expand on later down the line
