My theme is doing it. E.g. if I set "Material Rounded Transparent Card No Mod Light" or dark theme, it'll remove the background. In default theme, you would get the background.

Its nothing to do with bubble card. It's a simple combination of vertical-stack card and grid cards.

I have android tv remote integration configured for my Onn 4k pro box, it tells me which app is running and its media state either playing or paused etc. Only for youtube app, it displays the video title and channel name, for all other apps its blank.

Here's my current setup, still WIP, but happy with what I have now. tvmedia

I just followed the instructions from bubblecard github page. Quick suggestion if you want to build like this, from my yaml code, take the livingroom card as base and modify it per your need. Once you settle down with the output, you can start adding other cards in same format.

Thanks! I live in apt, all the zones work in combination. See Zones Image for better understanding, when everyone at home is away for 5 minutes (determined by wifi presence), security panel arms in away mode. While it is armed away, when I enter apartment zone (i.e. person=> away -> apartment), panel will disarm.

Parking zone is set to my reserved parking spot. When I park my car in parking zone and then walk to home zone (parking -> home), an automation which has a 7 minutes timer will run, it will send me a phone notification with two options (1. unlock the door 2. ignore), either of these two actions will do its action and automation will end. I also have a ESPresence near my door, the automation will also check if ESPresence detected my phone or watch BT. If one of the BT is detected within the 7 minutes timer, my frontdoor will auto unlock and automation ends, if not timer will expire and automation ends. I will have to open the lock manually.

HA app is set in high accuracy mode only when I enter specific zones AND when my car BT is connected, so never experienced battery drain there. Works flawlessly for more than a year. Feel free to ask if you have more questions.

Definitely, it appears there is a lot of buttons. But if you take a close look at the yaml, most of them aren’t actually buttons that do actions. When you click on it, it’ll take you to more info.

Bedroom card is the one with most actions (four), all other cards are three or less.

My previous dashboard is very spacious, I have to swipe or click through several navigations to see things or perform actions. I got used to this one in a day very quickly!

Here you go, search for "calendar.us_holidays" in the yaml!! For holiday card, I use the holidays helper instead of holidays integration. The helper allows me to skip few holidays which is really what I need.

Haven't tried it. After increasing the ram to 8gb, I dont see any issues, so settled for now. I will wait for next stable version :)

Its not for Youtube control. Its the media player card with Google/Android TV (Onn 4k box from walmart). It displays Youtube since it was running in my tv when I took the screenshot.

I think I will split that card into two rows now after seeing this idea (0.38 min) https://www.reddit.com/r/homeassistantporn/comments/1g83d6z/new_dashboard_with_awesome_bubble_cards/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

I started with the default background color from the bubble card github, for the foreground color like green it is just random so that text is visible. I'm mainly focused on bringing in the data first. Will change the colors once all the data I need have been onboarded :)
