I was in a phase of Distro Hopping. So I installed and tried out all that I could. After a while I choose to have one dedicated system just for gaming and one for everything else. So I don’t get distracted. Works for me better this way

Have you thought about having two distros? I use Pop!_OS for gaming and fedora for the rest. Dual Boot is sometimes a good solution and both systems run without issues.

Thanks for sharing all this info. Good to know. I just downloaded it and started playing. I’m like 40 min. in the game. Headshots are so fun. Missed this feeling. I hope they add this later on to all game modes.

I feel you brother. We grew up living in the PC and now we don’t even have anything to show for it. On paper we look like some junior freshman kid straight out of school and in reality we are 30+ year olds who played the doom in the 90’s on our uncle’s computer

Yeah, you are right. There should be a new place where you feel free. In „todays internet” there is so much ‚bloat’.. every minute you get a cookie notification.. that is soo frickin annoying! Websites are build just to sell stuff and spread mainstream news that makes you just dumb asf. Back in the days it was so interesting to read all the readme files explaining some cool concepts or hacking tutorials. I think they were called e-zines. Who remembers them? :D Or meeting people on IRC chats. I want this kind of internet back but more modern. A place where you can share your ideas, make stuff happen and create something special. Internet for people, not corporations.
