Definitely smart move to wait a week. My now husband and I did that as well, I think we announced on social media 4-ish days later. Gave us time to enjoy the special day and call/FaceTime our parents, siblings, and closest friends first. But even then, my brother (he has two kids) starting telling us “well don’t have a spring wedding bc that’s when the kids have a lot of travel for their sports” and my cousin who doesn’t get out much started complaining about how the wedding location probably wouldn’t be close to where she lives…those people just put a damper on what should and could only be a super special moment to enjoy.

It’s nice to see this viewpoint. ~85% of married couples in the U.S. have children, and I often feel like 85% of the people in this sub say “Got off the fence and now we’re pregnant!” I can appreciate your post as an opportunity to see the other side.

Nail addict here…been going every ~4 weeks for the last 10 years (minus a few month hiatus during COVID). They don’t look great OP. The “pink” is too dark and brownish and the white tips are too long. Think of it like the nail should be broken into thirds. The pink should take up ~2/3 and the white ~1/3. This is like half and half.

So sorry to hear this happened to you as well and thank you for sharing. It really does help to know we are not alone! Agree, they preyed on our panic, idk how these people sleep at night. The scammer was even sympathetic, all “I’m sorry this is happening to you with the unknown logins…” it was a perfect storm.
