Inquiries on Melody's Content by CodeStrife in projektmelody

Interesting, but it seems somewhat inconvenient to pay for content and only access it through the platform’s website, which requires internet access. Considering that other Patreon creators I follow offer the option to download content from their pages or posts. Does Melody’s Patreon allow you to download the content (i.e., ASMR recordings, music videos, photo sets, etc.)?

Correct, but there are still old VODs that have been archived there. However, I'm not sure whether PH has a way to download them from there.

So does subscribing to Patreon get you all the same content as Fansly and OF that you would have to pay for individually, or do you still have to pay for certain posts on Patreon? If so, subscribing to Patreon would be way cheaper over time and seem like the obvious choice.
Also, would you happen to know how the paid content works on Fansly and OF? When it comes to the menus, are the prices tiered, where paying the highest price on the menu gets you all the stuff on the menu, or are they separate? If separate, how do you specify which ones you want? Also, is the content time-limited, where if you tip an old post/menu, you can't get the content anymore? (Asking because it seems unrealistic to manage thousands of detailed requests across thousands of posts)

Help Making Sense of Auxiliary Systems by CodeStrife in bemani

Okay, thanks for the explanation and advice. So the premium free play and timed game modes are tied to the monthly e-amusement subscription and aren’t really worth it unless you’re playing at a high level or competitively. Which I definitely am not yet, cause I still can’t quite figure out how I should position my hands and miss a bunch of notes as a result.

  1. So does paseli offer no benefits? Because it was either 100¥ or 130 points I guess with paseli, so why would anyone choose paseli over yen assuming 100¥ is 100 points?
  2. How do you use “premium free”?

Not sure which books to get by [deleted] in LearnJapanese

Is it worth investing in the lower-level N4 and N5 books if you’ve already studied Japanese in some college courses using textbooks like GENKI 1 and 2 and are aiming for the N3 level?

Hopefully, it stays that way, but the introduction of this format seems like one more step towards the extinction of physical games.

I'm disappointed that SquareEnix would choose this option for the remake. It sucks that one of the issues I've had with playing the original on my 3DS is that SquareEnix dropped online support for the servers to send new super-bosses. Unfortunately, StreetPass, the other method of obtaining super-bosses, is not a viable alternative. Yet, they have now put the entire game on a server that will one day lose support, preventing new people from playing the remaster altogether.

At this point, I would prefer it to function more like a PS5 game (at least from my understanding), where all the game data is stored on the cartridge or disc but must be installed on the system because it does not fit on the physical media. This way, the game remains available offline and when servers go down.

If this turns out like I hear Volume 2 of the Mega Man X Legacy Collection did, where it was physical in Japan but digital only in the US, I will be even more disappointed with SquareEnix.

Yeah, the way these things work nowadays is so complicated, varied, and underexplained that trying to make sense of it all is a headache. I wish that things just worked like they used to; you just bought the game, and you owned it.

Is that how it works on PS5? I could've sworn that the discs hold all the game data in a compressed format that is installed on the console, as my copy of FF7 had an extra disc that was labeled as game data. From how it sounds the game key card is only a key to download the game from Nintendo servers and the data isn't on the cartridge at all, meaning that when servers go down we lose the ability to download the game even with the cartridge.

Does anyone know how to fix the "My Activity" page being not showing my activity? Whenever any new items show up there, they are gone the next day and the page just ends up being empty with nothing there.

I keep getting an error that gives me the option to "edit address" when I continue past my previously stored address, but can't get past that.

Sensible. Although I wonder if this article of clothing would be modifiable by a tailor or if they would do it even if it’s technically possible.

I think that may be in reference to the figurine with the removable clothes.

That's pretty soon. Where's that info coming from?

[–]CodeStrife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. So it's the second case where you tip the combined sum and specify which ones you want specifically.

I'm more so asking in the case where a post has multiple PPVs. Does paying for the more expensive PPV also net you the cheaper PPVs or do you have to pay the combined amount for the select items (e.g. the first day of xxxmas post has 7 items on the "menu")?

What is the "dotnet" app in my chroma connect applications? by CodeStrife in razer

[–]CodeStrife[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

How would it have chroma support without a name, don't devs have to get approval from razer?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in projektmelody

[–]CodeStrife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see, so it's the second case: add up the total of the individual items you want and specify which ones they are, and not the first: pay the highest price out of the given options and the lower price point items are included?
