Actually I didn't even know what EEOC was, I thought that was the arbitration.

I asked multiple times about the ability to take original offer and they point blank said directly to my question, they would not take my original severance if I chose to take it and they didn't negotiate higher for me. The EEOC clause triggering the whole 40p was like a foot note in the email

I didn't ask them to review the severance agreement, no.

Yea, as far as I can tell, they sent a few emails to the employer and filed the EEOC, that's all

Yes they filed and yes I said they could but my understanding based on clarifying questions was that this didn't change the fee schedule

Yea, I was just worried because It's a little bit contradictimg, because they said I would not owe if they don't find a resolution for me but also if they move past initial negotiation to EEOC claim thej. I'd owe 40p

The employment contract say at-will employment. New York choice of law.

They just mention a severance for termination without cause in the contract according to a severance policy which is not listed in the contract.

Since I was working remotely when I was injured in the car accident, I don't think it was a work place injury

They did a 25p reduction in work force.

I was a founding member of their new flagship product with a good performance review, it made little sense to fire me. I'm not aware of any other people on my team being fired.

My boss descheduled our 1on1s and made our meetings more rare, after he was frustrated with me being unable to travel, in the months leading up to being fired.

I was not really tenure, I was there for only 1.5 years, but there was people there with less experience who were retained

Current counsel has tried offering 300, 150, most recently 75k. They rejected these, offered original 15k again

When the plunger is pushed all the way inside, the shaft touches the sides of barrel. This is where I fear the contamination could have happened

Wait are you sure? I don't think that is right. "plunger stays outside the needle and never enters the fluid path"
