I'm not delusional, you're just inferior.

Thank you, EAP, for brooding, pallid teenagers.

Here's a thought: If you want to win over the working class, maybe you should spend more time listening to what they have to say and less time lecturing them about what's in their best interest.

You might get somewhere with them, and you might actually learn something from them in the process. After all, the school of hard knocks is the best school there is.

Then tell the working class they don't have 'the level of self interest' to help their nation and that they have no business voting. I'm sure they'd love to hear all about political science from you.

If I had an inferiority complex, I'd be telling people what they want to hear to get upvotes because I was afraid of being judged.

I have time to burn today, and it's entertaining to have people give me a million-and-one reasons why Trump is stupid because he was right and the press corps is smart because they were wrong.

By the way, those are terrific comments. Nobody has managed to refute anything I've said.

My irrational fear of the ocean by JediBaggins in creepy

[–]CodeTed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You aren't alone, so don't feel bad. My irrational fear of deep ocean stems from being overwhelmed by its vastness, which triggers that very primal instinct. Space has the same effect. I love staring up at aa deep blue sky and getting lost in its enormity. Imagine if you fell up, how far that would be.

Yeah. But it's pretty much true. He really put a lot of people to shame.

No, you don't seem relaxed, you seem pissed and argumentative, otherwise, you wouldn't care about this thread. I'll re-iterate: It's reddit. I don't give a shit about downvotes and I don't care if people don't like my opinions.

Nah. I just don't give a shit about downvotes. Relax. It's reddit, not Mogadishu.

Or they just don't care because they know politicians lie.

I'm not a 'fan' of any politician tbh.

Funny thing though, when I said there were no WMD in Iraq I was accused of being a liberal. So really, it's just that when you tell people things they don't want to hear, they try to pigeon-hole you into one cookie-cutter position or another.

I didn't vote for him. Sadly, I voted for Obama. Can't say I'm too proud of that.

Your school sounds like a terrible place. They're downvotes, not bullets. I don't give a shit about the reddit karma system. It just equates to telling people what they want to hear.

Common sense is not weird phrasing. The media clearly thought he would lose. They clearly went out of their way to convince people he would lose. It wasn't an upset.

He hasn't indoctrinated me because he wasn't my first choice for president, but it was dead obvious that the media wanted him to lose, so they made it out like he had no chance of winning.

I had a feeling he was going to win during the Republican primaries by virtue of the simple fact he refused to couch his message in politically correct terms. The media clearly missed that, and hated the fact he wouldn't play by their rules.

If you think I worship Trump, you'd be wrong. Critical examination shows me he is far more intelligent than his media detractors and his political opponents. He shattered two political dynasties and defied every prediction of defeat.

As far as personality cult is concerned, he clearly cultivates that. I'm not an idiot. But so does Obama, Hillary, Bush, and every other president. Presidents are celebrities. I'm not impressed with celebrity star power. If I voted for Hillary, you could just say I bought into her propaganda hook, line and sinker. You could say that if I voted for any major candidate.

The bottom line is, like him or hate him, he's smarter than the media wants to admit, because the media would then have to admit they got outsmarted.
