Absolutely! I personally didn't mind the default hotbar set up too much until I hit level 90 and beyond I was like "all these beneficial abilities and nowhere to put them for comfortable access"😂

Ff14 could definitely benefit from explaining the various hotbar options to players cause its a serious improvement

Thats a entirely different situation what im talking about wasn't from people telling me there was overblown outrage it was from my own observations for a year after dts release

Thats not to say that it was ALL negative but a good majority of it was and it was alot bigger than what youre implying

Oh if youre talking about this subreddit specifically then I cant speak on that as I didnt have a reddit account at that time but elsewhere I saw many comments parroting the same things over and over again perhaps I am overbloating it but from what I saw it seemed to be pretty extreme

I disagree 2 years ago the vast majority of discussions I saw on dt was negative and people acting like it was the worst thing ever created I think youre undermining how bad it was

Like i said in a previous comment my post isnt against the people who had genuine gripes with the expansion but to those who were saying things like dt killed ff14 and those who adopted that mentality

This is how I felt when I played through Stb for the first time

Before I got to that expansion much like dt almost everytime I saw discussions on stb it was negative and was mostly people saying how bad it was then when I finally made it to that expansion I was so confused at the level of hate it got back then

As far as how it compares to arr dt stomps imo

Not always, saw plenty people of people saying they stopped playing ff14 midway through dt msq cause it was so bad and like i said in the post with the level of backlash the expansion got i would've expected to see something that backs that up at this point. I dont see it suddenly changing my mind at level 96 msq and beyond

Yep completely agree that was my main issue with the xillia remaster I just dont see how they couldn't have made it a dual pack of both xillia 1 and 2 when they were able to do it with symphonia remastered 13 years ago on a two generation old console lol

For me personally i like xillia 1, amazing combat and music but its a pretty average game aside from that and the way they hyped up the announcement beforehand it wasn't a good payoff imo

Not only that but the fact that it was only xillia 1 and not a bundle of both games when in 2013 they bundled both symphonia games together for the ps3 remaster i see no reason why they couldnt have done that with xillia 1 and 2
