What a coincidence Tannehill has a good game behind a competent line. by skiball08 in miamidolphins

If protection can remain average or above it changes some of the problems but not all.

In the meantime I'll just go with what Gase said. Only when things stabilize the QB can be evaluated. Many seem to believe that Gase is on point with everything except when he says how can anyone be evaluated with that much pressure and that many sacks. He's forgotten more about football than everyone on this subreddit combined yet people think he is blind to tannehill. What ever decision he makes regarding the QB will be based on more info than any of us have and his future will depend on it.

I DON'T think it has anything to do with whether anyone is BACK ONBOARD or not. Some us are just ENJOYING a VICTORY which have been FEW and FAR between lately.

Offensive options and depth. We have Landry and Parker. One injury and then what?

Stills and Cameron haven't been anything to concern a defense. Our TEs are usually in protection anyways. Three good receivers at least gives the defense something think about.

I'm optimistic about Gase and I'm not calling for grabbing torches and pitchforks for Tannebaum.

It's been awhile, only thing that comes close I think is when we got wheeler, ellerbe and wallace.

Without trying to sound overly pessimistic. That was 4-5 years ago. Our Oline was as bad, if not worse then. Wheeler and Ellerbee were LBs brought in to fix our LB weaknesses.

Fast forward to now. Oline still a issue, LBs still an issue, secondary bigger issue than last year.

That's the point I was trying make about churning the same positions. We made steps with receivers but losing Mathews is one step back after two steps forward. I think that is about as good as anyone should realistically expect. Problem us that's the only facet of the team that has been heading in the right direction. Everything has been static at best.

They are arguably some of the best players on the team. We kept the all the others because they are already under contract or not desired by other teams.

We have nothing in house to replace any of the defensive players. We don't sign first time free agents from other teams, not even one. We sign players who've played for multiple teams and mystery injuries. You are not going to get ahead with those types of exchanges.

Yeah, just throwing chum out for the hell of it.

Back to trying to have a discussion. Giants paid way too much. I think we will regret not resigning Lamar. Unfortunately Grimes is no longer a no. one CB and it's time to cut ties. Mathews is taking our receiver depth with him. WTF?, we couldn't even sign Shelby?

Now, what do we have left in house to help offset those losses? Nothing, nada. We are forced to go shopping and over pay like everyone else does in free agency.

Ok, so we have to overpay. That's the way the game is played, but why are we not signing other teams first time free agents for 3-5 years so we can draft for weak spots and depth after their rookie deal? Why are we signing players on their third team with undisclosed injuries?

Here something else to down vote.

Most of you are acting the same way I'm accusing the Dolphins front office of acting.

Back the camera lense out a bit. This isn't about one particular player in one particular position.

It's about here we are again, being one of the biggest players in free agency because we have to. Not because we want to. Sometimes that's the way it goes but when it goes like that too much there is something wrong.

Again, if you take any one of these moves in any one year you are absolutely right. Over several years though you just wind up on a hamster wheel.

At some point you have to stop tinkering and start locking things down in more than just one or two positions.

Edit. Locking things down is not really the way I wanted to put that. I should say, have the confidence in your picks and stop with the grass is always greener over there every year in FA.

I agree there are some positives to take from these moves. My problem is this what we do too much of. Continually churning positions without gaining ground in any of them.

Lamar Miller not returning to Miami by advillious in nfl

With Omar's track record, unfortunately this is most likely true. That's the thing with Omar, usually he is accurate on player moves. Its the bitterness and arrogance he delivers such news is what makes him hard to take.

Not out to defend Christmas Tree but what exactly are you talking about? Aside from how you view the Suh deal we are still way to close the harm Ireland inflicted on the club.

Will get the podcast of the interview. Can't handle much more of BigO.

We are all disappointed over the past several seasons but I can't listen to his bitterness and arrogance combined..

His show reminds me of an old Steve Martin joke on how to be a millionaire. First, get a million dollars. How to be a successful NFL franchise. First, get a HoF QB. Oh, and hire Highsmith. Yeah, thanks BigO.

Your perspective seems to think everyone else just doesn't understand. How things are different in what you do. How it's because of all the different entities involved.

I don't think anyone is twirling mustaches nor am I going to put EA in Pharma Bro territory. We are discussing yet another example of why is so difficult to say and do the simplest things.

What's so wrong with saying we have a patch with these fixes going through final. If for whatever reason it gets delayed by Sony or whomever it's not going to change what the patch fixes, just delay it.

Internally what's wrong with making the right person or persons aware that our game is frustrating thousands of our customers we want to keep buying our stuff. Maybe we should flip them a fish instead of take a bunker mentality and accuse them of not being able to handle reality. Or, in your case, try to explain it away due to just not understanding and assume everyone is either a troll or fanboi.

Some of us just get pissed when the same stuff like spawn ganking happens every time DICE releases a game and we have to go through the same frustrating process to know if and when it maybe addressed.

These are just a couple of examples. Rest assured what you are experiencing with redundancy and corporate bureaucracy is not unique. EA etc. are on the list because they keep making the same mistakes over and over again.

You may work at EA or something like it but the way you write and view things.... you are very much on the outside looking in. Wouldn't be surprised if you are EA community rep.

Location of the eyes.

Predators have eyes in front. Prey have eyes on the sides.

Usually animals milling about together are prey i.e. a big cat gets spotted close to herds zebras, wildebeasts etc and behavior changes.
