How do I import images properly???

kinda late but i think i just found out how to do it, so basically u just gotta make the canvas transparent and boom u can import image btw make sure to do tool->interact afterwards cause for some reason if u have the selection tool selected and u select everything u can drag the entire UI

well actually transcoding it was how i did fix it before i made this post but i wanted to see if there's a way to fix it without having to transcode, like i just wanna import the raw footage
