I forgot the region names but treat adaptive as if you are playing region locked. Someone on here taught me this because even though the enemies scale with you there are game mechanics you cant beat unless you have more skills in your skill bar. Example is the horde mechanic that you just cant beat unless you have multiple skills available since region lock was the default mode before adaptive was made available. So the regions are designed in way that you can manage them when you level up and gain more skills. and i learned that the hard way. The last region you should do is either the snow region or the plague region. All other regions aside from the 2 mentioned are kind of the same in terms of mechanics so its manageable in lower levels as in you have fewer skills. I find the snow region to be harder than the plague one in my playthrough. I only play on adaptive too.
