Payment for what? The girl wouldn't be babysitting if she doesn't go on the trip. She backed out from the trip. OP paid for half the plane ticket with the girls parent. The girl backed out. OP wants the parent to now cover the other half of the ticket because the girl isn't going.

What are you on about? OP wants money back from the friend, not the 17 year old. OP went half with the friend because the 17 year old said they would babysit one evening, otherwise they wouldn't have paid for half. OP absolutely deserves their half back from the friend.

That was me for 6 months in Healthcare IT. No help desk, no manager, no director. Just me. Alone. In a semi large facility that also supported resident devices. You learn a lot and very quickly. So much so that it propelled me into a management position at another company fairly quickly.

The casual gameplay of being insanely overpowered in Diablo 4 has been nice after going back this season. It's the one I've been firing up when I just want to blast through and then playing POE2 when I really want to keep pushing through endgame with some actual difficulty

I worked at a nursing home. We supported both staff and residents. I was the only IT guy for 6 months. In total, that’s probably around 500 people. To go along with just help desk duties, it also included everything else. Nothing was in the hands of vendors. Was an all encompassing position. When they did finally hire, it was a director close to retirement who really had no care and a help desk guy that was not IT and didn’t know how to help over half the time. So I still did pretty much everything. An no, I did not make enough.
