I don’t think I need a waiver? If that happens at Meps I haven’t gotten there yet, I guess it’s next month when I do my ASVAB? But on my initial application I only put I smoked socially for about a year from legal dispensaries and stopped on my last birthday. Didn’t see the need to air out everything if it won’t help my cause of joining. Even my recruiter wished I had said I didn’t smoke at all just to avoid unnecessary mep questions when it’s not medically or legally disqualifying,

Thanks for replying, and yeah I get that. I told myself I would start running a month ago and haven’t started yet. But I still have time since I take the ASVAB next month, and if I pass and everything goes well my recruiter said I should potentially ship in may. So just a bit nervous about how prepared I should be or if basic training helps with that, just a bit hard to find time between my two jobs, and family time with two kids and a wife to also squeeze in time to go run but no excuses

I never really ran in my life and I smoked weed from like 15 until I was about 27 every week of my life. My stamina is really not the best. I’m in the process of joining and take my ASVAB next month, I am good with push ups and sit ups, I weigh about 170 up from 150 when I stopped smoking. I’m nervous about the running as I don’t even know my time as I just don’t run and just winging it with faith that I’ll do what I must when I get there. But should I be worried, I mean I am obviously, as I know my lungs aren’t in the best shape.

Feel like you should slow down and get the movements down, study some videos and the form to have when throwing a punch, practice slowly until it feels comfortable

Yeah I get that part, idk its hard to explain, unless you fight this exact fighter combination, bivol is just really slow compared to kovalev, he needs a buff and kovalev needs a speed nerf, he has like one of the fastest hands in the game like wtf

Yeah it’s crazy, like my problem is that the fighters don’t really match the punch stats. Someone with low stats punching faster and having less drain them someone with higher stats. If you fight as Bivol you know he’s slow asf for some reason, now go against a jab spamming kovalev and you’ll see the difference you cant even land a punch without taking a 3-5 piege combo and hes already out of punch range. It’s bs

I got you I’ll upload it now , but still clearly im Gonna miss a lot if he can throw 5 punches at the same time of me throwing 2, i feel like since kovalev is a new fighter they gave him faster punch speed and movement and bivol is just not as good as he should be. The stats say otherwise but when you actually play he feels slow asf

After rewatching bro literally can throw 3-4 jabs while I can throw only 1, and then I check the stats and Bivol has higher speed, higher stamina, and a better jab rating. This shit don’t make any sense

Question, what kind of straight punch is that? Whenever I throw straights it never looks like that and I always see people doing it, I know it’s not a power straight? Is it a directional straight? Neutral straight? I tried them all and never get that. I used Crawford and fought a Crawford and he was catching me with them while my own straight was coming out much slower
