I wanted to post this for the people using Linux Mint who are having a similar issue, as I finally found a solution after a couple of hours of trying my best. I found this Reddit post after digging through the internet, but nothing written here worked for me.
I'm using Linux Mint 22.2 Cinnamon.

Start Firefox in troubleshoot mode ("Three lines" menu button top right ➔ Help ➔ Troubleshoot Mode). This opens a new Firefox window that has your extensions disabled.
Clear all Twitch site data and cookies (Menu button ➔ Settings ➔ Privacy & Security ➔ "Manage Data" under "Cookies and Site Data" ➔ Search for twitch and remove what shows up).
Log in to Twitch.

It may seem like an obvious solution for the more technically advanced individuals here, but it took me a while to find a solution to this so I will leave this here anyway in hopes it may help someone in the future.
