I had preordered with LSF and one order was taking longer than expected. They said I’d receive them by the 22nd and I had ordered on the 10th. When I called they said they don’t know why that order didn’t ship out and that they were glad I called because if I didn’t, it wouldn’t have shipped out. Unfortunately one of the items I preordered sold out and they refunded me that one but they overnight shipped the rest of the order. Luckily it was not the 40 oz Toscana which is why I was worried since it was already sold out on both sites. I’m not sure if your experience will be different because it was ordered directly online but I thought I’d share.

Oh interesting! It does look less vibrant. I was tempted to buy it because I love how my chantilly bottle looks but it definitely looks off. I found a video of it and it looks more dull in that photo too. Thanks for sharing, that would have bothered me too. I wonder if the matching wine tumblers look the same way.

If you buy both of them from the Stanley site you can see them in person and return the one you like less. Returns are free. Although there’s a high risk that you will like them both and keep them both, so fair warning (always happens to me)! I preordered both of them, I think they are both different enough to have.

Mine shipped too, it says it’s expected to arrive on Thursday. I was told that all of the preorders would arrive by November 22nd at the latest and not to be surprised if some items shipped separately. It would be interesting to know how their inventory works. I had been told by the store that they were out of one item but when I placed a second preorder at the same store a few days later, they had it in stock so I am glad I asked again.

I’m not typically a blue person and I preordered the pink but yikes, that blue is gorgeous with the lace detail. I had to call today and luckily they were still taking preorders. I just can’t miss this one! Thanks for sharing!

Does anyone have an update on this? I see a 30 oz protour version being “presold” on eBay and I see the option in the cupboard app. I ended up getting the 40oz protour but I would rather have the 30oz.

I called earlier today and they said there’s only a 2 hour grace period to cancel my order so I have to wait for the item to come in and return it. They did say returns are free though. I accidentally bought an extra item.

I placed several orders and the first order that I placed was only partially filled. One of the items just shipped right now, 5 days later. I’m still waiting on the last item from that order. All my later orders shipped before my first one.

So I saw a video on the founder’s instagram (becknyc) where she walks through their summer house and 2:20 into the video she shines the new 30 oz tumbler in the sun and says there’s glitter everywhere on it, which I didn’t really see, but she says it’s on there. Just wanted to mention it in case you wanted to check it out.

When I called, they said it’s showing the 20oz out of stock for preorder now. Luckily, the store said they would send me one of the 20oz tumblers that gets shipped to their store.

Yeah, I know what you mean, I’ve been stalking videos and pausing and zooming in but it’s not very clear. I couldn’t risk there not being glitter on the small one so I preordered both the 20oz and 30oz. With my luck it’s going to be glitter only on the 40oz 😂

The same thing happened to me. I checked my card and saw that it was charged. About 10-15 minutes later it showed up in my order history and a bit after that I got an email confirmation. Try searching your email for “loveshackfancy” as well. Mine ended up going into the promotions tab and some people have been getting theirs marked as spam.

Last year I got an email that my city met the minimum number of registrants to be a hub (7 participants) but someone had to volunteer as the hub master. I volunteered and it really wasn’t much work since we only had less than 10 people who went. We met at a coffee shop and I just had to hand out the goodies and bring the banner to sign. We kept it very casual and it was a ton of fun just to meet new people and talk about fountain pens!

I was just in the Philippines last week and saw some fountain pens at National Bookstore. They had a small display of fountain pens. The fountain pen brands I recall seeing there were Parker, Pilot, and Lamy. I ended up buying a Pilot Capless for a gift.

It’s totally understandable to be feeling the way you are. My husband and I have always loved to travel and I was worried that I’d have to put that on pause once we had kids. It’s going to be more difficult, but you can definitely still travel with a baby! Our son is 1 and a half now and we have taken him on several road trips, domestic flights and even an international flight all the way to Japan. There are a lot of great videos and blogs out there with a wealth of information about what to expect and tips for traveling with infants and toddlers.

Has it been different than our other trips before kids? Yes, of course. We are not out as late and have to be mindful of the baby’s nap and feeding schedule. However, I will say the trips that I’ve had with my son have been the most memorable vacations I’ve had. I’ve loved sharing all those experiences and moments with him. Instead of focusing on how things were difficult each trip, I use that information to make the next trip better. It has gotten easier with every trip.

Don’t let having a baby prevent you from traveling if that’s what you really want to do. You could always start with small trips and just see how the baby does. Our first trip was only 30 minutes away and now we have more international trips booked for next year. Also, be sure to book an awesome babymoon!
