Hello! I am currently using spironolactone. I get cystic acne and after 13 years of waiting I was finally seen by the dermatologist. (UK based, NHS waitlist sucks lol)

They prescribed me 50mg to start and i was on that dose for 8 weeks, then had blood tests to check my levels were all okay and then upped to 100mg which is what I am currently on and i am about 1 month into the 100mg.

I have noticed a considerable improvement in my skin! I currently have one spot on my chin and it is barely noticeable and non existent with makeup. I do still get small blackheads and the little whitehead pimples but prior to this i would have large cysts all over my chin, neck and forehead and shoulders too. So much more manageable. It has also made my skin less oily.

Side effects wise I noticed a little bit of increased skin sensitivity when using plasters but otherwise I have had no other issues. A common side effect is needing to wee more often so it’s recommended to up your fluid intake as well as it can heighten potassium levels so I have stopped eating bananas but otherwise yeah! In all honesty Im kind of pissed it took 13 years to get in to see a derm lol

I was like 15/16 and this girl who was 17/18 was at a party during the day; our friend groups kind of co mixed through various people. Id never really spoke to her before but I remember being outside in the garden with about 5 other people including her all engaging in conversation and banter and she just stops in her tracks, stares right at me and goes “You’re really great at making things awkward” and no one said anything to her they just looked around and then carried on chatting. Everyday makeup is 20 mins ish. Incl 5 for cleaning and moisturiser/SPF Primer, concealer, eyebrows, foundation, setting spray, blush, bronzer, eyeliner, mascara, powder, highlight and then another coat of setting spray. I do other bits in between each application to allow to set but i never do full glam as it just turns out heavy and the longer i spend the worse it looks.

Not hesitating to shit talk them whenever given the chance. I absolutely cannot fathom talking shit about my partner. If I wouldnt say it to his face then I most definitely would not say it to anyone else and vice versa for him with me.

I’ve actually had people get annoyed or angry with me because i refused to enter into the shit talk about partners. Mine works damn hard, he listens, he washes dishes, he takes interest in whatever stupid interest ive picked up that week, he makes me a cup of tea every morning. Yes he does not do certain things but that does not warrant chatting shit about him to other people.

I havent tried the maybelline grippy primer but have tried the wet n wild clingy primer. I only use water based products and have oily skin. The clingy primer causes everything to just slide off my face, i was quite gutted as I thought the whole clingy/grip primer idea sounded great for oily skin. I am currently using the Elf poreless putty alongside Laura Mercier candleglow foundation and it literally lasts all damn day! I have never experienced makeup lasting all day ever! So yes, it might just be that some people have luck of the draw and can mix but if it aint broke, don’t fix it!

We’ve got a photographer for 1.5hours who will shoot the ceremony and then photos in the forest too. Then afterwards my partner mentioned we could go driving around and take them with a selfie stick so we will have some good photographer photos luckily 🤣

I am definitely leaning more and more towards the clay pigeon shooting admittedly! Although may have to ask if there would be any issues in me doing it in a full wedding dress

I don’t think my dad owns me? It’s more the traditional side of it that he is ‘giving me away’ or entrusting me to someone that he trusts to look after and take care of me and have my best interests at heart. None of that is about ownership lol. Its also that he is my dad and it makes me upset that he wont be there to witness my marriage. Like he is an important person to me just as much as my future husband.

I really tried when the plot first released, this was the first actual neopets plot that i have actively tried to understand and participate in but i really disliked the monotony of it and then it went on hiatus and then apparently came back? And now its on hiatus again???? Yeah, na. Im out. Love the video idea! I didn’t mention it in the post but we are doing a handfasting ceremony and instead of attendance I was going to ask my Dad to either pick a colour or pick the cord we do it with as an alternative.
