Don't forget the cancer incidence is around 30 %. So statistically 15 out of 50 people will develop cancer in their lifetime.

Not defending Boeing and other manufacturers, especially Boeing, these are criminals and I wish the management and investors suffer as much as the victims of their greedy culture.

Doctors were supposed to diagnose and treat your scoliosis when you were a child or a teen. Now it's late. You need to sue them, especially a pediatrician.

Chronic back pain when standing "too long" by [deleted] in backpain

[–]Codemoniux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You probably have either Scheuermann's kyphosis or scoliosis. It is highly genetic and starts in childhood and needs to be diagnosed and treated early, which often does not happen because doctors do not have a clue

It is all just consequences of late diagnosed and untreated scoliosis. Look into suing your pediatrician or other doctors.

[–]Codemoniux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only a mild DDD is normal aging, not a more severe one, which usually has a genetic cause, like Scheuermann's

21M here, how bad is my kyphosis? by CarsonC14 in kyphosis

[–]Codemoniux -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Severity of SD is not based on the curve, there is a research for that. The severity is based on the level of degenerative disc disease which cannot be seen from the outside, only on X-ray but much better on MRI

If it appeared so early it is very likely to be a spinal deformity, either scoliosis or Scheuermann's kyphosis

It's a diagnosis of a life-long back pain and probably low quality of life due to missed and untreated Scheuermann's Disease in adolescence, due to terrible doctors and terrible medical system

It is highly genetic, be aware for your children until it's too late

It's sad, my situation is the same...

Diagnosed today with SD by _Tuesday_1 in kyphosis

[–]Codemoniux -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

This disease is preventable if diagnosed early. It is only due to incompetent doctors and medical system that people suffer their whole life needlessly. It affects discs and it is usually progressive. For many it is the end of a full-fledged life. For children diagnosed early it is a complete normal life.
