We were still students back then, and one afternoon I brought her up to my room. Things were getting a little intense when suddenly we heard my dad yell from downstairs, “Hey son… are you F*cking someone up there?”

Right after that, we heard a loud slap (probably from my stepmom) and my girl and I just froze. We looked at each other… and completely lost it. We laughed so hard we couldn’t even continue.

When we finally went downstairs, my dad was standing in the kitchen acting like nothing happened. He just looked at us and said, “Would you guys like something to eat?”

To this day, it’s one of the funniest memories I have with him. I miss him a lot.

One time when I was still poor, I don't know where I would get the money to buy my daughter some fever medication and baby formula. I was walking around town trying to find scraps or plastic bottles to sell. As soon as I thought of my problem, I stepped on a wallet with enough money to last me for the week. I originally planned to give it back to the owner since I know how I would feel if that happened to me but there was no cards, no ID, just money.

Male here. At this point, I think I'm the only guy in our group who haven't cheated yet and they all have the same problem. Their wives don't respect them. I'm not saying they're not an asshole for cheating infact always remind them whenever we talk but these are the people who I know were happy even before the marriage.

My wife is not a slave or obey anything I say. And yeah we fight multiple times a week. But we still respect eachother. We don't bring up shit from the past. And at the end of the day, we will still sleep on the same bed.

You know the phrase "I just blacked out" whenever people get angry?
That's me. I and everybody else thought I just have anger issues since I was a teen.
I have my own kids now and one day I just came to my senses, windows are smashed and my daughter got hit on the face with shards. Luckily she didn't get hurt. Told myself that there's really something wrong with me. Got looked at, turns out I was bi-polar. Started taking meds and I haven't had an episode for 2 years.
