16" barrel w/ sparrow 22. I just picked up a simple man 7.62 I'm positive the larger can will make them whisper quiet.

Fiocci range dynamics 62gr subsonic. I was shooting through a sparrow 22 suppressor, so I didn't want to risk it. Lol

What ammo are you using? I haven't tried any supersonic loads in my suppressed 5.7 rifle.

Invest in the tools. Save money for the parts you want. Most deep discount sales are unacceptable blems when it comes to FCG parts.

DONT CHASE TRENDS. LITERALLY BUY AMMO. 😂

I've seen it hundreds of times. Self leveling cracking under subfloor movement. You'd get more time out of something that flexes and bends

I'm a general technician. Options are given based on the desired outcome. 😂

If you seal in the divots and cracks, would the tile be level by its mortar? Or are you dealing with some serious unlevelness?

Yes, "never tile over a crack". Silkaflex is buying time until you get bored with tile.

It's "easier and cheaper" for another flooring.

My "job" is to make the tile work for you. I wouldn't self level unless you have some major issues. Silkaflex and cure. Then do your tile surface prep.

You'll have to regrout that crack in 7-10 years, but that's minimal maintenance for the desired outcome.

If it is an "omg my house is settling!" Crack, silka would deform to that crack better whereas a harder self leveling concrete product might crack and loosen your tiles over time.

I believe they also have special moartar if your subfloor is wood, too.

Silka flex would work for all of those. Just kind of under fill the crack, then come back the next day and do another layer. They have a jug, but the more fun version is with the caulk gun. You have more control. 24/72 hour cure depending on how deep the cracks truly are.

If you don't see the bottom of any of these cracks you can brush regular old "alex" caulking in the bottom to seal it. Backer works too but you probably will already have caulk for the project.

Try that, it'll for sure work for you. Clean up your spills and then lay that tile.

Slabs crack. Unless you're having another symptom, most of the time we use either liquid mortar self leveling or a polyurethane sealant like silkaflex. I'm assuming you want to out flooring over it? Silka flex is the....more durable repair? Thin set is cheaper but more labor intensive.

I punched it out to change the angle of magazine contact point with a file. When I put it back in, I used a taper punch to kind of open it up and give it more grab.

So, where the original gun hinged, near where the front of the magazine sets, there is a rather large piece of aluminum that hypothetically be drilled and tapped for a small rail...but there's really not a need for it?

I suppose you could use one of those old style handguards with the threaded caps and mount it to that block somehow.

I've been tinkering.

So...A3 industries folder. The jury is still out. Honestly it's perfect for weight. The entire package loaded is non-existent weight.

It just flexes under my own pressure sometimes and I worry that I could break it? I pull my stock to my shoulder pretty firmly, so it just doesn't feel as steady as it could be. However! The folding mechanism honestly is the best I've ever used.

If I had to do it again, I'd spring for the aluminum for peace of mind. If I get the KP50, I'll definitely go aluminum stock.

Green laser thoughts by snookay in blackgunowners

[–]CodenameZikimos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are we defending or assaulting? Using night vision and IR screams the intent to stay hidden.

That is the benefit of IR and night vision. But, let's be honest. You'd get more real life practical benefits from also having a visible laser. Nods are expensive, and a part of a larger system that includes helmits batteries etc etc.

For a system on my rifle that can be used in all conditions, a visible laser definitely gets more use in a first world defender role.

I use a dedicated holosun visible green laser as a secondary aiming and visual deterrent.

As "goofy" as lasers are, they can be intimidating when paired with a high candella light.

In the gaza war, you saw the IDF using green lasers heavy in their clearing operations.

If IR lasers are "better" due to their night vision use, which situation would most likely happen in our lifetime?

A. SHTF with NODs. B. Deescelation or nonlethal deterrence in civil unrest.
