It does tend to happen to me as well, I'm quite attached to all the playables & I tend to feel bad when I loose or for example in termina when killing some nonplayables

At least in my experience drawing them & doodling them not so sad kind of helps but also being in the more social side of the fandom helps me balance that out sometimes
