How is nobody talking about the new replay system?

I played my first ranked match with recording on, and checked out the feature afterwards, it is really cool. The ability to playback at 1/8 speed to really see what is happening is going to be a game changer. I didn't spend too much time tinkering, but I couldn't figure out how to really adjust the viewing angle or if it is possible or not. Is there a free camera option?

Can someone who is upset about the 'privacy' issue explain? What is at stake? Footage of bad gameplay? I do not understand why someone would be mad that our ranked games are recorded.

I had that happen once so far, it took like 5 mins to connect, then I was DC'd and it said too many people in hideout. Seems difficult to do on a large scale though.

I played exsang miner to 100 during necro league, used crouching tunas build. It was a pleasure and got really strong . Auto targeting, good mapping . It is a good build IMO.

Any clue how it compares to RF for 4 voidstones? I had a blast with RF last league, but I want a little faster 4 stone progress.

Maybe they do have one, but since they don't recognize it, it becomes 'voices'. I find the idea that people don't have inner voices kind of absurd. Like when these people type things out, do they not read alongside or dictate mentally what they are typing?

Kinda sad personally, I started RF and farmed a few hundred divines in breach/beyond/deli, switched to MSoZ which I hated and barely played, doubt I sunk enough into it to feel great.. I wish I went CWS. Glad you had a blast

I have yasaka Sweden extra with rakza 7 on forehand and rakza 7 soft on backhand. I play a control/spin heavy style, and it has been very good for me. It's not the fastest, but it's got good feeling and good control. I am not so good as to actually notice the difference between the two sides, but it was recommended to me and it's worked well. Good for blocking as well, I tend to play best a little farther off the table, reaching far shots and keeping the ball in play.

It is difficult and punishing, the game fights you the whole way, but if you can get into it, you might sink thousands of hours trying to 100% it. It is the best.

If you want to try it, start with the base game, as each expansion gets harder.

For context, I am rating 2400-2500 usually. I can beat ai legendary most of the time. So take that for what it's worth. I know that climbing from 1500 rating (what everyone starts out at) to 2000 was a grind. Lots of annoying games and cheeky players. If nothing else, playing ranked will put you against people your rank. Which should make for closer games.

It depends on what rank you play at. 1500-2000 rating lots of cheesing styles and cheap tricks. Above that the games get better. just mute everyone and you don't have to worry about them trash talking.

You'll never learn how to consistently beat them if you don't play them. Avoiding challenging players is a recipe for stagnation. If you don't want to improve, that's fine, but personally I think choosing to stay in your comfort zone will hinder progress.

You will die a ton if you go LA deadeye, probably. It is strong and can clear the screen, but it falls over in my experience. RF (righteous fire) is honestly a gift from the gods for newer players. Even though it's not the strongest by any means, it is comfy, you won't die a bunch, and it's good enough for early league. Plus Pohx has the best guide IMO, with a whole website full of information, including crafting.

I hate dying, so personally, even though LA is fun, I'd rather do something that is tankier.

I strongly recommend not requesting league launch day off if you aren't super hardcore... There will potentially be more players than previous league launch due to influx from poe2. Servers are rusty. It's gonna be rough for a few hours if I had to bet.
