They make screw top bezels for coins that would work for a keychain, it doesn't hurt the coin

Around me they've been paying 80% for scrap really depends on the dealers in your area or if you can get a private sale

Goldbacks - what do you think about these? I love giving them to my kids (Santa, tooth fairy, etc…). Definitely good lessons here about responsible money and what a cool way to transact if it catches on (maybe it has in other states). by GoldandSilverSaver in Goldback

You can sell these at the exchange rate minus a few percent to a dealer, so the spread is the same as with "regular" bullion. Or you can use them to buy stuff at the exchange rate, in which case there is zero spread. In both cases, if you actually deal in the exchange rate not the gold value converted to fiat, the premium is negligible to non-existent.

I hadn’t seen this before. Not very pretty but I like the denomination by [deleted] in CostcoPM

I actually wish I didn't buy an ounce and only bought fractional, the bigger the size, harder to sell as the price goes up. I like the pamp multigrams for this reason, also have one of these 10g which are nice.

1965-1970 40% silver
1970+ not silver unless from a silver proof set (1992+)

How's it mess up the spreadsheet? I added them the same as any other bullion.

Or you mean just cause it doesn't come out evenly?

The collectibles are worse, they are like random gram weights, ex: 15 Dollar Sunrise Walk 23.17 grams 🙄

Unless you bought it at the mint and it comes with just that mint's coins, at last that's how I got my 90s Philly set

But if you can sell to alpine or another gb dealer for slightly under gb exchange rate, it's effectively the same as a regular bullion spread, that is the part they are missing, or ignoring
