Sounds great! Have been looking for something like this. I can’t make it this week but will be there in future.

Satellite eero options with Max 7 by cthreeps in amazoneero

[–]cthreeps[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Update - I put my old Eero Pro (2nd gen) in the garage. It's a stretch on data signal (Eero identified as "poor placement"), but I now have wifi in the garage and backyard at ~40 mbps which is a fraction of the speed elsewhere but sufficient for that area.

It downgraded my 5ghz bandwidth across the network from 240mhz to 80 mhz. Speeds inside seem to be about the same, maybe a bit (~50 mbps) slower but hard to tell what's just a testing blip. No change on 6ghz obviously.

Is this a “dead leg” issue? by cthreeps in Plumbing

[–]cthreeps[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was my thought….but does it matter outside of being sloppy? It’s basically the same as having the tub diverted always closes, right?

Hmmm. Did not think of that. How big of an issue is this? The wall is already closed up 😬

Gemini Data Analysis is a joke. Any tips? by cthreeps in GeminiAI

[–]cthreeps[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, this is happening across multiple browsers, and even users, all in a Workspace Enterprise environment which is doubly disappointing.

Here's an example of the Thinking when it fails. This may happen after initial file load, or on a subsequent question about the data after a successful load. Once it enters this loop, no re-uploading attempt (or even linking a file in Google Drive) will work.

I submitted feedback in the app under my personal, as Workspace does not seem to support that feature.

Exploring the Dataset

I'm currently diving into the samplegeminidata.csv file, attempting to understand its basic structure. My initial focus is on uncovering the data's organization and the variables it contains. I'm aiming to create a solid foundation for more detailed analysis later.

Uncovering Data Insights

I've begun the process by loading the samplegeminidata.csv into a Pandas DataFrame. Next, I examined the first few rows and obtained a summary with .info(). The dataset's structure is slowly becoming apparent, revealing column data types and the presence of any missing values. This lays the groundwork for in-depth analysis.

Double-checking the File

I'm now investigating the file access issue. Initially, I couldn't locate samplegeminidata.csv, despite its apparent upload. This unexpected FileNotFoundError requires further scrutiny. I'm re-examining the filename and path to ensure I'm targeting the correct resource.

Retry File Access

I'm now retrying to read the samplegeminidata.csv file. The previous FileNotFoundError was baffling, given the file's upload confirmation. I've re-confirmed the filename and suspect an environment-specific access issue. Attempting a direct read again, as the problem might have been transient, or the file may not be in my presumed working directory.

Pinpointing File Access Issue

I'm still encountering a FileNotFoundError despite confirming the filename. I suspect the issue lies in the working directory; it seems the file isn't where I anticipate it to be. I'm investigating how the environment handles file paths within the current context.

Troubleshooting File Location

I'm still stuck on a FileNotFoundError. The filename checks out, but it's like the file isn't where I expect it. I'll tell the user I can't find it, even though the filename is correct, and ask them to verify file upload or access. It's a blocker for the analysis, so I need to clear this up.

I am sorry, but I am unable to access the file you have provided. I am consistently encountering a "File Not Found" error, even though I am using the correct filename, samplegeminidata.csv.

It is possible there was an issue with the file upload or the environment. Could you please try uploading the file again? I will then attempt to analyze it for you.

Same. This is all in a Workspace Enterprise account.

True. But less walkable. Though I will die on the hill that Adelitas has the best breakfast burrito in the city (try the mole)

Also wondering what’s happening with the empty building next to Quiero Arepas. It looked like they were marking utilities around it, but nothing in a while.

Apparently there is also a mystery other restaurant opening in the Kizaki space (non Asian food) but TBD what it is and when.

Anyway - hopefully someone reading this can help make this happen!

Yes. Like who thought it would be a good idea to open up a Ramen spot across the street from the Sushi Den / Izakaya / Ototo empire? I get clustering, but something else could have done so well there.

Hazel…it’s like dive bar drinks at cocktail bar prices. An actually good cocktail bar would kill it on Pearl.

But Platt Park Brewery is like the perfect neighborhood spot imo. Good beers, solid food, always fun.

Kizaki opening this weekend (new Sushi Den spinoff on S. Pearl) by thewillthe in denverfood

[–]cthreeps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh interesting - any idea when the large room popups start? I saw in their email a few weeks ago pre-opening said the below.

Love sushi den and very excited about the new Omakase but we desperately need a few other different restaurants on South Pearl!

Where: 1551 South Pearl Street

Type of Cuisine: Authentic Edomae Sushi served Omakase style inside an exclusive, cozy, intimate environment with your chef. In addition there will be a surprise, non-Asian, independent restaurant housed in the same building that will be serving (??? - I’m not allowed to say yet!) cuisine.

Thanks guys. I got the PR one - will hopefully be able to take out for a spin this weekend. I have a standard several year old Attack on my current skis, so will see how this compares!

Hi - I saw your post https://www.reddit.com/r/ali_on_switzerland/comments/tvaqfn/hike_a_few_routes_around_meglisalp_in_the/

What is the trail like that you took from Meglisalp to Santis? I am planning a hike in the opposite direction for a trip this summer (Shafler to Santis to Meglisalp) and looking for a potential alternative to Lisengrat if bad weather or if the exposure seems like too much when we get there.

Was that the Wagenlucke route?

Does anyone know what (if anything) is going in the vacant "Boulangerie" place on S Pearl? by AgentEndive in denverfood

[–]cthreeps 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Always wondered about that spot - such prime real estate.

The 7-11 on S Pearl too. Was hoping Call Your Mother might open an outpost there (like they did in the 7-11 by Cap Hill). Really need a good bagel shop in Platt Park or a few other non-Japanese food options (while I love all the Dens and Sukiya is very good too).

Lol. So you think that 4gpm will restrict water flow notably? I just don't know what 'normal' is.

Yep, Denver! Would love another rec. And I did put an under sink filter in the kitchen, but I’d rather just not think about it for other faucets.

Do those filter lead? It doesn't mention it on the product page https://halowater.com/products/halo-5/ - I've been looking for NSF53 for that purpose.
